Hey Kaboom,
I am another T.O. lad at 68. Have been on Androgel for years, always made me horny but never hard. Started pills in my early 50's but stopped working when I was 60. Went 7 years without sex. Even though I was still horny as a goat.
Luckily, I started on Ozempic. During the pandemic, I ballooned to 300lb with no exercise, increased alcohol consumption. I began the O in September 23, and started to drop the weight. I started to look for some way back and found Franktalk.
I ordered some Trimix from Olympia (during my winter in the US) and after a few missed shots I found the way and my God, to have the best erection of my life at 67 was a life changer. Bought a VED and my penis health has never been better. My cock has defnetly gotten alot larger. I use 5mg daily Cialis for BPH.

Don't need no cock ring. And my Trimix when frozen lasts as long as I need. I usually fill up 7 or 8 syringes and freeze them. Whoever told you that it last 4 weeks is a loony toon. I get a stronger dose and use less, I pay about 5 dollars a shot. And my erections last an hour and a half. My wife has so many orgasms its unbelievable, she had at least 30 in our last session. Now she calls me a wild man.
PM me if you want any more info. If you haven't really tried Trimix then I wouldn't jump to an implant just yet.

By they way, I am now down to 220 lb. a transformation for sure.

Just a tip I learned on this board. Get your urologist to give you a strong prescription for Trimix, it costs the same as a lesser dose, as the costs to the pharmacy is in the compounding. Use less and save more!

Thanks Budward. Good idea to freeze your Trimix doses so they can be used much much longer than the stated timeframe.

I have tried Trimix twice before. Works pretty good....But at the rate would only get 3-4 uses before id have to throw it out. Wish I knew the freezing trick back then.

I might try it once more. But in middle of TRT now for 3 weeks will see how that goes.

Thats the last stop before the final frontier.

UPDATE: On Trt 6 weeks now......

Maybe too early to make any solid decisions but I have noticed two things:

I do feel a bit more muscular definition.

Metabolism hard to tell obviously but doesnt feel any different....fat % remained the same throughout.

Wrt erections, it's been going in wrong direction. They are even worse than before. Even by myself I cant really get it hard, just barely semi- hard. This is a downgrade from when I started trt. puzzling. Maybe it's also due to more stress in general I've been having thats affecting me down there.....but trt early signs are not encouraging.

I used transdermal gel patches.

T replacement is a lousy ED medication. It’s great for treating symptoms of low T though.

Significant ED really needs ED specific treatment. If your ED is bad enough that pills and shots (BiMix, TriMix) don’t work, then it’s time for an implant. T replacement won’t do that.

I have used Androgel for at least 20 years now. It does not cure or help ED. What it does do is help keep up muscle mass, gives a general sense of wellbeing and of course perks up your sexual feelings.
When I started to fail sexually, I went on Levitra and it worked pretty well for about 10 years. I stopped having sex when I was 60 but at 67 I went on Ozempic, lost a ton of weight and found this forum. I ordered Trimix and a VED and started daily use Cialis. Trimix has been a Godsend, best erections of my life, helped with my PE. Now I do sessions of over an hour.
When the shots stop working which I hope is never, then and only then would I consider an implant.

As soon as you mentioned going from one position to another venous leak came to mind. Have you had a Doppler performed?
Good Luck with this, it is frustrating and depressing.

Have you lost hair or have your balls shrank using Androgel?

At 69 I have a full head of hair and still have my hair color from my youth. I am very fortunate. My balls are normal. Androgel is something you don't want to come off once you start.
