Hello men, I had a robotic prostatectomy 5 years ago. I cherish my wife and find her very sexy. She has had vaginal pain during intercourse for years before my surgery so not as interested in sex as me. She encourages me to get hard and When I take viagra and see her nude I can get a decent erection. With proper lubrication and careful penetration the in and out action is great and I stay hard. She wants me to have an orgasm as quickly as possible. The problem is difficulty having the orgasm.
I researched Phycogenic ed but My erection is good. I do think it’s the psychological part that makes orgasm difficult. I actually found a work around but would like to know if anyone else has had this issue?

Hey brother, welcome to the forum.

Since my RP, I’ve tried Viagra and Cialis with no luck. You are fortunate that it works for you. I have to use TriMix to get erections and also have difficulties having an orgasm at times.

Here is what I do and it helps. In a perfect world, especially when we were young and before RP, during an orgasm, our bodies fight the urge of fluid (semen) leaving our body. We hold it, hold it, hold it, until it explodes and we get the great feeling.

Now that we don’t have a prostate, we have no semen, so the fight to keep fluid from leaving our body during an orgasm has diminished and sometimes does not exist. In an attempt to recreate the feeling of fluid leaving my body, after I take leak and empty my bladder of urine, I keep pushing and pushing and try to remember the feeling of trying to push out more urine.

So, during sex, I search my mind for that feeling of pushing out urine and my body (sometimes) reacts to hold it in, just like when I had a prostate, which eventually brings on an orgasm. The harder I push, the more my body fights it, the quicker the orgasm.

There’s no guarantee that this will work every time or at all. I’ve found that when I masterbate, it works much better than when having PIV sex. During PIV, it’s harder to find and concentrate on the feeling because of the trusting back and forth as opposed to sitting there stroking yourself. Also, you want empty your bladder completely before attempting this, so you don’t accidentally push out urine.
