Hey guys,
You can call me Mole. I'm 33 years old and have suffered from ED since I was 21. In my early 20s I started to notice that I could only achieve partial erections. I was a compulsive masterbater and porn user. But even when I was jerking off I was never fully hard. I quit for several months and noticed that I got a little harder but not really a big difference still no full boner. 12 years later I'm totally dependent on ED drugs. And I am healthier and more fit than the average joe. I'm a brown belt in Brazilian jiujitsu, avid horseback rider, and I lift 5 days a week. I played Rigby in college and am getting my masters in Exercise science. I should be the last guy to have this issue. I got married in December and my wife does not know that I use ED PILLS. 12years of suffering from this, I think it's time for possibly an implant. Idc if it's malleable or inflatable. I just want a normal hard on and I'm extremely depressed. I need advice

Hey Mole...
ED affects every type of man, not just sedentary men in poor health. The important thing to remember is it's just a medical condition like any other, and is not an indicator of your manhood or lifestyle.
Don't let the rush to fix the problem get in the way of the right solution. Do you research and decide what works best for you. There are injections as well as implants, but it sounds like you still get good results from the pills. If that's the case, you should continue with them...they generally have the least downsides compared to other treatments. The implant will always be there if/when the pills fail you, but no need to rush into it.
One question: Why haven't you told your wife? You need the support of your partner in this, and it will take a lot of pressure off of you to have that.

Re: Hello, I'm mole
Hi Mole- I would definitely advise you to let your wife in on the secret. There is no shame to having ED as much as there is so much negativity surrounding it, mostly by men who feel incomplete when their hardware doesn't work. In the future if you decide to get an implant, how are you going to hide that from her?
Read and get informed on your choices. Lots of guys who have gone the implant route say they wish they had done it sooner. Have to admit, I am one of those guys. For me, the pills and injections did what they were supposed to, but that made for scheduled sex. That was a real libido killer for me.
Best of luck moving forward.

Thanks for the reply!
If I'm being honest, it's because I'm scared shirtless. My wife and I have a very sexual relationship and if I told her that I was having trouble with the man down stairs then that would make me look weak almost. Part of me feels like she could care less because we have a child together and 1 on the way. But I just don't know how to tell her that I've been on ED drugs for years. I tried to have sex with her once without the pills and I was like 50% hard. Even when I take the pills, I get to about 75-80% hard but never 100%. Psychologically it's taken a toll on me.

Go to an endocrinologist (preferably) or a urologist and get your testosterone measured.
Age 80 in 2025. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

The longer you wait the harder it will be, and the more she'll feel like you hid something. Just be vulnerable and tell her what you told us..you were scared to tell her, didn't wNt to lose her or appear weak.
If ahe loves you enough to have two of your children, this be fine.
