I am celebrating my 1 week-versary since my operation. As many of you I dealt with my ED with pills and then injections. I am glad I took this step and wish I had done it a lot sooner. When talking to a doc, she said to me "you are too young for an implant (I was 59, I'm now 60) What's age got to do with it, if nothing is woirking? But I digress. I am happy to be on this journey and though day 1 had me reconsidering my life's choices, once the catheter was out and I was deflated to about 50% it has been rather smooth sailing. No major brusing or pain. Though I can 't wait for the staples to be removed and for further deflation of my friend. It's awkward to walk around with a semi erect penis.

Greetings from Australia back to Arizona! I've been there and went hiking in the Grand Canyon about 10 years ago.
I'm sure you'll be happy with your implant once you get through through the initial recovery phase, which seems to vary in time from person to person.
60 is not too young for an implant if you need one, there are guys on here in their 30s with them. I can relate to what you say but seems like you're having a good recovery so far. Yep, walking around semi erect 24/7 is not fun but you get used to it. Just don't go banging your erection on the stainless steel door handle of the kitchen cabinets, like I did. Ouch!

You'll be fine. I was also a bit paranoid up until I was deflated and started cycling.
It's good to be mindful but try not to let it dominate your thoughts, it's very unlikely that anything bad will happen.
