I guess it is not really part of my daily vocabulary, so I don't really see the word except when I'm logged onto FrankTalk. It is here that I see men use the word. Since we're all men and basically talking about same thing, I keep thinking it is a missing piece of my sexual health.

Not at all missing, PSSDorAmINormal. Libido is a fairly subjective term in that it is in the mind and every individual's mind is subject to one's own referential background. In other words, "libido" is hard to pin down.

To me the term libido refers to how horny a person gets over a certain time frame. Horny, meaning you want/need a sexual release. The sooner your body desires that sexual release is the more libido you are considered to have.
I always said my libido was at 110% because I wanted sex twice a day or more. That was in my prime days. Since the age factor has to be part of that formula I probably have to say my libido is more like 60% now. Twice a week would keep me happy but even once a week is good.
As far as increasing libido the only thing I can attest to is marijuana. In my youth smoking a bit would make me want sex now. The fortunate thing was it had the same effect on my partner.

I've tried the PT stuff and it really did get me thick and make me feel horny. But I had notable issues with the side effects so I stopped using it. When I went on Trimix, I gained a lot more confidence and so that made my desire for sex increase significantly. So, a lot of it IS in your mind. And my partners were good with it. They knew that there was very little chance of me not getting an erection and there was certainty that we were going to be having sex of some kind once I injected so for me, it made a lot of things easier.

Yes...PT-141. I injected a few times and was quite surprised how effective it was getting me horny. Within an hour or two I would feel my penis getting very thick even if I was just walking around. The first time I used it I went to get lunch and was sitting at the bar and got a great erection with no stimulus. Even after it went down my penis stayed thick and if I lightly stroked it I would get another erection. Because it worked so well I hesitated to use it along with trimix and I've since stopped using PT-141 mainly due to the side effects of feeling like I had the flu for about a day after. I've read that not everyone gets those side effects so don't think my experience is the norm. It may not be for you. I think I used PT-141 about a dozen times and each time got the same rise in libido and urge to have sex along with a thickened penis. Overall, I still prefer trimix since I tend to know when I'll be having sex and it starts to work very quickly. The PT-141 sometimes took an hour....sometimes a few hours. But it lasts a long time.

I had prostectomy 6 October 2023 and sure all nerves were taken. My libido is almost 100% mental. Because my penile implant is lacking its reservoir (taken out to get to the prostate and due to be replaced some time in the future), I have ZERO erectile function and cannot even get a blow job or hand job because of uncontrolled incontinence.

Yet I get a great deal of pleasure from my over's orgasms derived from my tongue, fingers and toys. My olove for her supplies the urge to have sex that previously was generated by physical libido and sensations. Now it is a mental libido. You can cultivate it if you have the desire to get physical intimacy and emotional connection. The mind is a powerful thing and can generate surprising amounts of emotions and drives.

Lost, I am sorry to hear about your PC. You are always such a good supporter of this site. Think about an AUS 8000 for the incontinence. It is a game changer. AUS 8000 comes in different size cuffs so pick an experienced surgeon to install it. One size does not fit all and it takes experience to know which will do the best job. Mine was sized where it dried me up even before activation.

Agree with LostSheep. But Oldbeek: How's your testosterone? (See my signature.) I'm also having delayed ejaculation, and sometimes have to simply quit when she says, "Ok, that's enough for me." But I still get satisfaction from getting hard, penetrating her, and thrusting; it's the masculine thing still, and she gets satisfaction from the thrusting. So it's a new ED phase, and a lot better than nothing, for me.
