Naturism

There is more to sex than an erect penis. How do you maintain your sexuality both for yourself and for your partner? What techniques do you use to give both of you a great, satisfying sex life? How do you explore your own body and sexuality now that the rules have changed?

I was raised in a family that was very liberal & when we camped we bathed together in the rivers. I sleep nude, swim nude and sunbath nude but only in total privacy. I will go to a beach and walk many miles to be alone. If there is an approaching beach vehicle I cover up. The worst part has been my urologist/oncologist visits for prostate cancer. I have walked out of doctor’s offices if there are only female technicians. And even with male doctors it has been humiliating & I barely allow them to poke & prod. How the hell do women do it? Wish I didn’t have this phobia because it has been debilitating at times.

I am a little surprised that as you have gotten older your outlook hasn't changed. I didn't go out for sports in junior high because I would have to get a physical exam and drop my briefs for testicle examination. I was never comfortable in the school shower room or at the Y or in any naked setting around men especially when I realized that flaccid I am on the short side. However by age 50 I just decided "What the hell it is what it is" and lost my inhibition. Now at 68 even a cute female working on my plumbing doesn't faze me or make me blush. My wife is very prudish and would never sleep nude although I do from time to time. I do sleep better with my dick unconfined. :D
Age 68 - AMS LGX 12+2cm. Lost over an inch from pre-ED length but thicker for what it's worth (not much). ED result of heart meds.

Your story fits me exactly!! The only difference is I was embarrassed to be naked growing up--being uncircumcised in the US at the time, the only one around, I was embarrassed. But, when my ED hit, I got used to the same list you did--tests and exams by both genders, and came to enjoy them--and I walk around nude at home, and my wife doesn't. I even have attended a number of events--some all male, some with one female (tantra lessons--wonderful)--that involved being nude, and I loved it!! I do sometimes go to activities you may enjoy--not sure i can name them here. I live nearer New York City than you, and there are some wonderful events that are all nude..

Rbrown, I was also one of the very few guys who was not circumcised when I was growing up in the 1950s and '60s, but I never felt embarrassed, nor was I ever teased about it. I gained weight when I started college in the late '60s, which made less of my penis visible on the outside (I am guessing it was kind of "average" in size before I gained that weight). Again, I never felt embarrassed and was never teased about it.

(I have heard horror stories of guys who were teased because of their circumcision status and/or their size, and I feel so very sorry for them and it makes me mad at the persons who did that.) :x

I just returned from a pre-holiday visit to my daughter's home several states away, where I had to wear pajamas to bed because the guest bathroom is down the hallway near my grandchildrens' bedrooms. It was tough reverting back to that constrictive mode. I think my grandkids' future is going to be very unaccepting of naturism. I recently saw an article by a millennial in a big city telling everyone what his version of the new "etiquette" is in public gyms. He basically condemns nudity in the men's locker room, even in the showers. The world is going nuts.

Yup, agreed. How do you wash your nuts and sphincter wearing clothes. When I visit places where I have to be concerned about my kids seeing my bare ass, I sleep naked but if I get up to go to the bathroom or get a drink, I slip on PJ's and take them off when I return. :)

You must be better at going back to sleep than I am. That much activity would wake me up for good. :D

Hi guys,
This is an interesting line of comments. Having grown up in a family of six sisters and four brothers, you might guess we were kind of open. But we weren't. The most we might see was a sister in a slip.
Growing up in the 50's, while others remember being naked in swimming pools or otherwise, there was none of that in my schools. So I was really quite conscious of being clothed. I could go without a shirt, but didn't much because of insects. (I remember nightmares of coming home from school on the school bus without shoes)!
But after several instances with female nurses and doctors, I have been getting used to that and feel it's no big thing. That got me to questioning whether naturism is really immoral. I have actually changed my mind about that.
But with my upbringing, I doubt I would ever go to a place to be nude. If I happen to get caught that would be no big deal. But very unlikely. And my wife would never be with me.

As the name implies "stubby" being nude in a group setting would be an awesome challenge. But I think it would total liberating to try it. To stant total nude and not be ashamed of my body would be a life long dream.
