Not sure where to post this so here it is, sorry if it should be in another forum. Im 52 years old and have been married 30 years with no other partners in that time. About a month ago I started noticing my semen has a brown tint to it which I assume is blood. Lately every time I go it is now that color. Several years ago my semen turned from white to clear and now when I go it as turned to the brownish tint and I dont have much volume. I am scheduling an appt with a urologist just wondering if anyone has any idea what may be going on. I have had no injuries or trauma or anything like that. Sucks getting old

You definitely want to get that checked out promptly. When you make your appointment be sure to stress the blood part. I wouldn't worry about the white to clear but the brown is not good. The only time mine was brown was after biopsies.

Without a doubt this falls into the “get it checked out right away” category.

While you’re waiting for your appt (at least urologists are typically easier to see than dermatology) try not to worry a whole lot. There are a lot of things that can cause this. I’ve seen it or something similar twice in my life. Once was after some frequent and pretty wild sex with my wife (I’d been deployed and was on a mid-tour leave) and I busted a small blood vessel up there somewhere in the vicinity of the valve that opens/closes depending on whether you’re urinating or ejaculating. Scared the hell out of me. The other was after a hernia repair and I’d gone like 25 days without ejaculating. Like rusty pipes and old plumbing.

Small urinary tract, prostate, or testicular infections so low grade you have no temp and no other symptoms can do this too.

Won’t know til the doc checks it out. Good luck.

I have to agree with see a doctor asap.
Not sure if this is similar but- I recently had blood in my urine. After seeing the urologist they recommended a bladder scan. That turned up tumors in my bladder, which he removed during the scan (worst pain I've ever endured) They were cancerous. Doc said early detection meant much better prognosis. I never noticed blood in my semen.
Hope all turns out ok for you.

The only time I had these symptoms is when my PSAs increased. Had a biopsy. Diagnosed with prostate cancer. Check out my posts form more info. Keeping my fingers cross for you.

Thankful to not have these other experiences yet.
Mine is not clear but not brown. The only time there was any variation it had red/fresh blood. This was simple trauma from a doggy style position and the urethra side of penis rubbing hard on a woman's pubic bone.
Definitely get checked asap as I would be concerned about brownish color being from further inside as apposed to my situation.

Short answer, get checked I have no experience.
