Best harness for strap on hollow dildo

There is more to sex than an erect penis. How do you maintain your sexuality both for yourself and for your partner? What techniques do you use to give both of you a great, satisfying sex life? How do you explore your own body and sexuality now that the rules have changed?

I'm sorry I can't answer your question. My experience with strap-ons and harnesses is very limited. I have zero experience with the hollow dildos. I don't mean to butt into your business but totally waiting to deal with ED may not always be recommended. Below are a few links from the "Documents and etc. Worth Reading List" found in the General Discussion sub-forum. I apologize for mucking up your thread if this is info you're already aware of and have already addressed.

IF ... I understand pw1956 correctly he is seeking a temporary intermediary device solution between radiation and lupron treatmeants and his doctor "approving" a possible implant for ED.

I dont believe he is personally seeking to delay an implant himself.

Anyway, I have little personal experience with strap-on's myself as in personal usage, however; I have considerable knowledge from being associated with the organized Fetish community and the adult sex toy [not necessarily medical device] industry.

First, hollow dildos are probably most commonly found as penis extensions. The penis is inserted into the hoolw base of the shaft.

Second, they are often utilized by female Dominatrix's to deny the male submissive any sexual pleasure from having intercourse with her for her pleasure alone.

Then, they get used as a medical substituite for those with ED problems as well. There was one company that specialized more in this realm, but I dont remember the name.

"Vac-U-Loc" is a "Doc' Johnson (sex toys) company trade name for a universal attachment system for fastening an appropriated dildo to the harness; so different sizes and shapes of dildos may be utilized with a single harness. These require the dildo to have an appropriate sized bore in the base that mates with a proper sized jagged probe, after which "vacuum" locates the two units together and retains them so that they do not pull apart on the back thrust. A "Vac-U-loc" dildo will not accommodate a penis being inserted into it for location and retaining the dildo as the small hole in the base is utilized upon the barbed prong. It cannot do both.

As far as harness's, you are probably going to want as much secure holding power for the dildo to your body as you can find. The flimsey little rope g-string model look stimulating in photos of hot young Dommes Pegging some sub in the ass in porno, however; practically speaking you need more. Your goal is utility.

They do offer the "Vac-U-loc" adapter that fastens to, "whatever" through 4 bolt holes on a rectangular base.

pw1956 wrote:As I just started radiation and Lupron post prostatectomy, treatment for ED months away. I’m exploring a hollow penis dildo and wondering if anyone has tried this and what’s the best strap on harness to buy. There are g-string, double strap, o ring, vacu loc, etc. There is a wide cost variation.

Any suggestions would help.

Hollow base penis dildos, most common as (short) penis extenders are generally designed to be used as penis extensions. They fit over an errection, sort of like a condom, only thicker walled and looser fitting. It is possible to find longer models. Tension is generally used to hold them in place.

Flare based, generally solid dildos; feature a flanged disc at the bottom. These dildos are designed to be inserted through the "0" ring on an o-ring harness and retained by the flange for the back thrust. The o-ring, made of metal, synthetics or fabric are usually retained to the harness by tabs with several "snap" retainers.

It might be difficult to find a hollow flange base dildo.

"Vac-U-loc" retention system require a solid base dildo (no flange) with the proper sized bore to mate with the jagged prong, similar to a hose nipple ; where vacuum retains the connection on the back thrust. There is no way to insert a penis and the prong.

As far as harness, IE: g-string or double strap; [primarily designed for female wearers] you'll want the most secure and washable unit you can find as body fluid and lubricant gather quickly.

Even though some get expensive, keep in mind that most are designed as adult ,novelties made cheaply in Pacific Rim countries, not as medical devices. Generally many are not durable nor do they carry warranties.

"Sizing" can also be an issue. Most are smaller waist sizes.

Purchase locally. I could not advise purchasing a harness without personally inspecting it first. They will probably be non-returnable. Often measurements on product description and/or packaging is limited at best.

A flange base dildo retained in a harness and secured to the body would be pressed (uncomfortably) back firmly against the penis by the harness.

Opps, I didn't realize that you have an implant. Otherwise, I would counsel this:
I would recommend a book by Dr John P. Mullhall: Saving Your Sex Life: A Guide for Men with Prostate Cancer. You can order this book on Amazon or probably get in a bookstore. He talks about different strategies, but the point is to do whatever it takes to get hard on a regular basis. It is a case of use it or lose it. (Even my urologist told me that!) The point is to get the blood into the penis and for the muscles not to atrophy. Use a viagra-type med, or injection, or whatever. Get your wife to fondle you. Whatever it takes to get a rise!

If wearing a hollow dildo does something for you, then OK, And if you feel you need one to satisfy your wife, OK. But you need to try various things to get a rise.
All the best to you.

I was out of town and returned yesterday. As I was driving back I stopped at the Sex Shop that advertises on the highway. It was a Lion's Den. I've been there several times before and know that they carry a fairly large and diverse selection although they are expensive. Anything they sell can generally be found MUCH cheaper on Amazon although I have gotten some good deals there.

Anyhow, recalling the original post (now edited to near deletion), I checked out the original topic. Yes, there are several harness setups with hollow dildos made for use with the dick inserted. IMHO, most seemed cheaply made and due to their construction I failed to see where the wearer would receive any stimulation or gratification from use. Of course if the sole purpose is the satisfaction of your partner I expect the user would receive gratification from that. One of the cheaper looking IMHO, brands did offer a model that had a vibrator with a wired controller. That could provide stimulation for both the wearer and his partner if it's effective but I have no idea how effective it is.

The model that had the appearance of higher quality but no vibrator function was:

Sports Sheets Everlaster - Stud $50 bucks UPC 03912 17330 http://www.lionsden.com/sportsheets-everlaster-harness.html

The one that looked cheaper. It had models with and without the vibrator:

Fetish Fantasy Series Vibrating hollow strap-on. Distributed by Pipedreams http://www.lionsden.com/hollow-strap-on-vibrating-flesh.html

The glow in the dark model might bring a little levity to the situation and loosen things up: http://www.lionsden.com/hollow-strap-on-vib-glow-in-the-dark.html

There are a bunch more options on-line.

Before injections I did use a Doc Johnson strap on with the vaculock system. A hollow dildo wasn't an option with that system and without injections my dick is totally flacid so there really wouldn't be much difference whether hollow or not but it did give me the ability to give the wife a workout and that helped me out a bit emotionally and hopefully made the wife happy. It allowed more staying power than what a VED is good for due to it's time restrictions.

"Most" hollow dildos, designed as sex toys are fairly thin walled. Actual medical devices might be different.

One again, "In my personal experience within the Fetish realm" ... is that most common (not all) hollow dildos are designed as penis extensions and hold by tension similar to a condom.

They are utilized by a Dominant female (Dominatrix) upon a male subject (submissive) to deny him the warm, juicyslippery, grippery sensations of her cunt on his real male penis and still provide the penetration and thrusting sensation exclusively for HER sexual pleasure.

He does all the worshiping and work and she gets most of the fun.

What needs to be realized is that in reality (Sado-masochism) he gets his satisfaction from being denied, humiliated and being "permitted" to "Serve/ice her initially. Often they are not permitted to cum and sometimes get punished if they do so without her permission/approval.

The ones I saw were fairly thick walled, were not designed to be used like a condom (came with and required a harness) and did not appear to be designed for the S & M community. They were advertised as suitable for woman on woman, woman on man (pegging) and as an ED aid, befitting to original topic of this thread. What the S & M community does with them is a separate matter and not germane to the original question posted by the OP.

drumber,
The store did have a fairly large section that catered to your proclivities.

Yeah, I'm not denying that the selection of products that you described exsist ; for the usage that you specified.

What I said was that the majority of the hollow products on the "adult toy" market are marginal products primarily used as penis extension designed to be utilized over an errection for whatever reason and that more quality hollow dildos designed to be used in a harness would be more expensive difficult to locate. [as you indicated yourself]

Take that for whatever its worth.

I stated what my personal experience was for the usage I was most familiar with in the Fetish community to support the idea that was mentioned that the male wearing it would N0T be the individual getting the most increased pleasurable experience having his penis extended, while having his Glans encased in a heavy layer of vinyl. Noting that it would be the femal partner that benefited the most from an extended penis extension with increased girth.

Then I gave some additional background on why some couple might use the product this particular way in comparision to a couple attempting to use the product where the male cant get it up enough for a hollow extension to prove useful to them.

Gay men might use them for a completely different purpose than heterosexual couples.

Different strokes for different folks !
