Dosage for women's testosterone ?

My wife has recently started transdermal cream testosterone. She has her first follow up with the Doc next week. She is still awaiting results of yesterday's blood test. Guidelines I've read say the typical dose, via click applicator, is in a range of 0.5mg to 2.0mg. Her dose is 1.5mg.

I'd like to know what dose is being used by women, especially if there was a marked increase in libido as a result. I would welcome any reports from the guys here.

My wife started off with cream, I don’t remember the dosage but I think it was .5mg. It didn’t seem to work at all. At the time my wife was doing a lot of morning walks and you can’t sweat a lot after applying the cream.
She changed to another women’s wellness clinic and went with the pellets they put inside her buttocks area. She didn’t have to worry about when to apply any creams, the pellet releases slowly.
The pellets worked, her libido increased a lot and she gets really wet when we start foreplay, so I don’t have to use lube anymore.
She gets the pellet every four months.
The pellets got her to normal testosterone levels.
She also takes progesterone and a thyroid pill.
Her wellness center does a complete labs test to see what your total hormones are and a plan to get them back in line.
Our sex life has improved exponentially even more than when we were a young married couple.

my wife got a shot . she is not here with me . so i dont know the details ,but also got supplements , xymogen -ks-d3 and dimension3, mega sporebiotic [for healthy gut ] .
she has had insomia for decades ,after her shot she said she slept like a baby .
sex wise , idk since she won't be here for another 30 days .
but all that was recommended after her blood work was done .

I'm not crazy about injecting the pellets since there is no way, except waiting then out, to tweak the dose. She is paranoid about androgenous effects so it would be bad news if she started unusual hair growth and there was no way to reduce the dose.

Her blood work came back: T=39, FreeT=3.0. Everybody seems to have their own reference ranges so I didn't know how these compare. The lab puts her at about the midpoint for T and toward the high end for FreeT.

Anecdotally, my observation is that her libido has not increased but her frequency and ease of orgasm is better. The doc is increasing her dose so I'm still hoping for her libido I get supercharged.
