My name is Jeremy. I had the LGX implant installed in May of 2015. I am a 32 year old male. My ED started when I was 19 due to an accident that has pretty much devastated me. For about 10 years I chose to be in denial, thinking that function would restore itself. It never did. The surgery itself has left me feeling very deflated (no pun intended). The bottom side of my penis is essentially numb now. The doctor did a procedure along with the implant that he called a scrotoplasty. He said it would help to make my penis appear larger. I am very down about the lack of feeling that I have. I have yet to even attempt to go on a date because I am scared of the ridicule I might receive because of my lack of interest in sex as well as what appears to me to be a much smaller member than I once remembered. If anyone has any advice or even just a word of encouragement, I would greatly appreciate it.

Get your testosterone levels checked. I had a lack of interest until I started taking shots every three weeks.

I have suffered from severe ED for the last 10 plus years. I have come to accept that I may have to find meaning in life from something other than sex (charity, family, work, etc). I have also accepted that I may have to find a woman that has similar issues with sex. If you do some google searches you will see that many women that have had health issues (like cancer) are unable to have intercourse. Our minds are incredibly resilient. Even when facing extraordinary circumstances we are able to cope with time. I hope this helps you find some peace.

I really feel your pain, pal. I injured my dick about 8 years ago, and things never returned to normal. I lost thickness, but not much length. However, I was a little less than 5" to start, so a bit below average.

With Cialis daily for two years, I was able to regain some function. In fact, despite not having my natural penis, I was still able to date and have sex partners. More recently, I messed up some nerves down there, and after seeing about 7 urologists, 2 neurologists, and a world-renowned plastic surgeon, I have learned there is nothing they can do to return that sensation. However, I hope in the future to still get an implant to be able to get an erection whenever I need one.

This thread on Reddit has given me some hope. In fact, the poster posted on here several years ago. This gentleman lost all feeling down there due to a plane crash accident, but he got an implant, which restored his sexual function. He lost a ton of size from his natural penis, and he lost all sensation, but he is still able to have intimate, sexual relationships, because he said he learned sex is mostly in your mind, and he worked with a therapist on this.

Another guy completely lost his dick after priapism. They had to build him a new one altogether, as they would for a transgender man. He is able to have sexual relationships as well.

I really struggle with this issue as well, and at times I get some extremely dark thoughts, but the men on this board, some of whom have talked with me in person and over the phone, are really willing to help, so please reach out to some people. Although things for you and I will never return to what they were, there is still hope for satisfying sexual relationships if we rethink what sex means to us.

Jmurph: I'd recommend you look up a urologist who specializes in reproductive medicine and get a full work up of the various hormone levels and assure you are able to utilize your implant properly. The reproductive medicine specialists are few and far between. you'll probably need to go to a. teaching hospital to find one. Get after it tho, it won;t cure itself

I only at 8 weeks, so I can't give you any feedback other than my hope that you can find a way to get some sort of sex life back. Have you checked your T level? Could explain the lack of interest.

I whole heartily agree with Lost Sheep. She's out there you just have to look for her. She more then likely won't come to you.

I had my implant surgery 11 weeks ago. I also had the scrotoplasty procedure done in conjunction with the implant. I have complete feeling and sensations I have not felt for years. Unless the surgeon hit a nerve during your surgery, perhaps the lack of sensation is from something else. I concur with others that you should seek out a reproductive urologist. You are too young to face life with an issue that is obviously troublesome to you.
