Extreme concern and anxiety

Postby Gavalar09 » Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:23 pm

Hi all,

28 and going through extreme worry that I have Venous Leak and severe ed right now.
Currently using 5mg of cialis for sex.

I managed to have sex with my gf last week using ED and everytime bar one time they worked well, on one occasion so we'll I just flirted with my gf and stayed hard without her touching me for 15 minutes.

However, since that week I can't get hard, even by myself. The reason I took the pills is because the exact same thing was happening the week before we got together again (She works away alot)

Its like I can get hard with her but not on my own.

I can't even muster a semi by myself! Not sure if it's going to work with her again when she is back. Right now it feels like I have Venous Leak. I'm worried and don't know what to do!

rest assured that you don't have VL, but I think you nerves may have just gotten a bit suppressed/de-sensitized. hopefully you recover soon bro, this shit fucking sucks!!

How do you know its not venous leak?
Yeah, I can't even feel my penis. Its really does. I've been contemplating suicide over it to be honest.

I can understand your depression brother, ED is a mental killer. There's a high chance you don't have venous leak due to the fact that you were able to maintain an erection for 15 minutes in the presence of your girlfriend. Yes, I have similar symptoms where I have very little sensation in my penis at most times (besides occasionally feeling blood flow/sensation through my balls/shaft and head sometimes). It's likely that your issues (probably like mine) are solely limited to nerve function. The best way to determine the presence/absence of any blood flow issues would be to get a penile doppler ultrasound done. The first one I had done showed great blood flow and no leak, but I'm scheduled for another in Jan since my issue is still ongoing.

But wouldn't using cialis counteract the leak?
Can you not masturbate either then and have no morning wood?
Good news on the last doppler!

As I understand it, PDE5 inhibitors (the oral medications, Cialis, Viagra, etc) work by increasing blood flow into the penis. They do not inhibit venous leak. If a patient gets a usable erection with the medications it is because the increased blood flow simply overwhelms the leakage.

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com wrote:PDE5 inhibitors block PDE5, an enzyme in the walls of blood vessels. Blocking PDE5 causes blood vessels to relax, increasing blood flow to certain areas of the body. This effect means that they can help manage conditions such as erectile dysfunction and pulmonary hypertension.

No, as Lost Sheep confirmed, Cialis would not directly counteract or eliminate any venous leak. I can sometimes masturbate with porn/stimulation and get up to 90-100% erection (with or without cialis), but it’s very hard to maintain that without the constant stimulation as my sensation is very off due to tight pelvic floor. I sometimes have morning wood that varies from 60-90%, but this also fades away due to lack of sensation after getting up from bed. I’m in US

I'm sick of this.

Just a wild guess, but you might have low testosterone, which always causes depression, and can cause ED. Get it checked by any doctor - it's a simple blood test. If low, synthetic testosterone is easy to use, not expensive, comes in several forms, and works in 24 hours.
Age 78 in 2023. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.
