If you didn't become hard from an injection and the doc still insists this is psychological, a second opinion is warranted.

Re: psychological problem most
I would pursue this further. I would do as the doctor said and take the 5mg daily cialis and see what improvement you get. It takes a few days for the medication level to build up in your system so be patient. But after taking it for a week you should see some difference. If you see some effect but not enough I would ask the doctor if they would prescribe 10mg daily.
If that doesn’t work and you are willing to try injections I would go down that path with increasing doses/strengths until I got satisfactory erections or it became clear that injections are not sufficient.
If you aren’t interested in using injections or you try them and they don’t work then I would pursues an implant. Thats what I did. I used pills for a few years. When they weren’t effective I switched to injections. When injections became less effective I got an implant.
You said you suspected you have venous leak but your doctor said the problem is organic. I might not understand what you mean but venous leak IS an organic problem. So it doesn’t sound like you disagree.
When a man has ED the doppler is most likely to find venous leak (too much blood flowing OUT of the penis) the most common cause of ED. It might find arterial insufficiency (too little blood flowing IN to the penis). It might find a combination of the two.
No matter if it finds venous leak or arterial insufficiency (or both) the treatment is the same. Pills/shots/implant.
If your doctor was suggesting the problem was psychological (all in your head, nothing wrong with your penis) I would look for another doctor. You had an injection and did not get an erection. That seems to confirm there is a physical problem and the dose was not sufficient to overcome it.
There can be more than one cause. Certainly there CAN be a psychological component when a man has physiological ED. Anyone would be anxious or worried about their erection when they have ED. That might contribute to the problem. But injection medication works locally on the tissue. It is not dependent on your mood. Anxiety can make the problem worse but the injection medication can be VERY powerful and should be able to overcome any anxiety. If it can’t you HAVE a physiological problem.
Keep advocating for yourself. Keep pushing to make progress. Try what your doc suggests but keep going back to them until you get satisfactory erections.

ED and depression is a sign of low testosterone. Get your testosterone measured - a simple blood test.
Age 80 in 2025. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

I see that your total testosterone is good. Now as GoodWood says, your next step is penis injections. I have used these for eight years with excellent results. Try these before considering an implant.

Re: psychological problem most
Doctors usually say two times per week. Some Frank Talk guys inject three times per week, but that is not recommended.
