Keep fighting for it man. Anthem denied me originally for implant after they had approved my excision and grafting. Said they covered the dr but not the hospital. Went through hoops with them until the dr office talked to the right person. Don’t give up and keep fighting. Peer to peer should get you...

I just had implant surgery on Tuesday and had a Covid test Sunday. Got my results in 4 hours.

One day post op. Gauze is from drain removal

Wow! I couldn’t remove them myself! I didn’t go home with a catheter but to think of pulling this drain out myself makes me cringe.

Thanks for all the support guys. Getting ready to head back to the hospital for the drain. Not bleeding anymore (and I did have a jock strap in those drawers! Haha). No real pain, just soreness. What does sting is urinating due to the catheter. That stings like a b*tch.

Thanks Hound. Kinda hard to move around too much with bloody drawers and a drain hanging out. Should be able to be more mobile when Dr Yafi takes out the drain and redresses me.

Still hanging in there. I feel the nerve blocks are starting to wear off, but even then there really isn’t any “pain” just soreness. Seeing Dr Yafi tomorrow to have drain removed, so I’ll be glad to have my bloody jock strap and bandages replaced!
