My cylinder tips go about 3/4 of the way (or a little more) into glans not pumped and pretty close to the tip when pumped (between 1/2 and 1/4 inch from tip) but it really depends on if the glans is engorged or not. @Bailey: I really can't help with any suggestions for pain as I really didn't hurt that bad. Beyond a few sleepless nights I didn't have bad pain. I found that ice helped at first and then a heating pad really felt good as time went on so try a heating pad and see if that will help some of the pain....
