Re: Catheter
I recently had a catheter for four days due to a severe prostate bleed. The urge to pee was excruciating painful, after two days my uro called in a med for spasms. The feeling I had to pee stayed but the spasms finally calmed down. Same here. The first few times the spasms struck I thought I was go...

Re: Replacement Surgeries Down The Line
As has been written the smaller implant at revision is most always from an infection where the implant has to be removed and nothing else placed for a long time. 6 + months. With regular revisions 5 + years many times a larger implant is used. So there are things we can do to prevent infection. One...

Re: Where do I start?
Injections seem to work for many, but I developed Peyronies shortly after starting alprostadil injections so now I have to deal with that. On top of that I must have a venous leak because even with the injections I can't keep an erection for more than 5 minutes at a time and now (about a year later)...

Re: Penile Implant in Canada--where do I turn now?
There are other excellent surgeons besides Eid, but he's probably the closest to you. The urologist in Houston I hope to use next year charges $20K US, then you have to factor in travel and incidentals. Perhaps the Toronto hospitals are constrained due to the COVID wave and are deferring elective su...

Re: Just how important is external ejaculate? To you or to your partner?
Ejaculation is important to the woman as well as to the man, but don't for a minute think that lack of ejaculation or reduced volume is a barrier to good sex. Medical science has been able to tread erectile deficiency. Some day ejaculatory insufficiency might succumb as well. In the meantime, do no...

Re: is an implant worth it if you already have retrograde ejaculation?
As said before only you can decide. I too have retrograde ejaculation. Even though nothing comes out, the organism feel more intense to me. Yes at times I do miss it but it's not really a big deal. I'm in a sexless marriage for 15years. I got an implant 5 years ago for two main reasons. 1, I was ho...

Re: is an implant worth it if you already have retrograde ejaculation?
One other thing thing not mentioned is that ED did a number on me as it took part of me away. Not being able to have an erection left me feeling very bad. I was not a whole person. When I had the surgery all that changed. Even with some problems I had at least I was whole again and it improved most...
