Re: Newly Bionic
Dear NiO, Real glad to have read your post. I just had a revision done by Dr. Hakky yesterday (3-25) and also was prescribed the Ketorolac. The script said it was for pain, as needed up to 4x per day. Dr. Hakky did my original implant and I did not receive this then. The info sheet I received from t...

Revision this morning with Dr. Hakky
Hello all, I underwent a revision this morning performed by Dr. Hakky and an impressive surgical team at Gwinnett Medical Center. So far I feel great And have been entirely coherent and largely comfortable since being discharged. We just had dinner at Applebee’s. Dr Hakky replaced my leaking 3year o...

Re: Shake it, shake it.
Donnie,
While seated, press upward and forwards the perineal region behind your scrotum with your finger. Then squeeze the bottom of your shaft and advance this pressure toward the tip. I usually can coax a few more squirts out of me with this method. It works while standing as well.

Re: Getting insurance company to pay for an implant.
An implant was also specifically excluded in my employer provided insurance, but my doctor’s office staff was successful at overcoming that obstacle. Ask them to make your case for the medical necessity of the procedure.

Re: Implant and tight scrotum
LBC,
My scrotum has always been tight as you describe, and I got the implant three years ago. Never had a problem. The doc had me repeatedly pull down on the pump as I was healing and now everything seems to be at home.

Re: Does anyone regret getting their implant? Nervous. Surgery tomorrow
NY,
You should know that there is no going back. This is a decision with permanent outcomes.
We all are nervous about it. But in hindsight, I'm happy with the decision and so is my wife.
Most everyone here will tell you the same thing.
Best wishes.
Mike

Re: Implant Pump Failure
What pump did you have? One Touch pump or the Genesis pump? I understand I have what is called the "classic" pump. This is the name a Coloplast patient educator explained to me when I had circulated a pic https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9417 here a few years ago. ...

Re: Implant Pump Failure
I am dealing with a similar performance failure with my three year old Titan. About two weeks ago, I noticed the bulb would not reinflate after about 20 pumps. The next try was about 16 and the third was less than 10. I strongly suspected a leak, based on other posts here on FT. I called my surgeon ...
