Had the same problem after refrigerating filled syringes. On injection could not tell if the plunger had stuck or I was not in a good spot. I now always back the plunger and push back in until a drip comes out of the needle before injecting.

Kovac is at Indiana Urology and Mellon is at Indiana University Urology. My Urologist at Indiana University Urology recommended Dr Mellon. Sounds as though you have been pleased with Dr Kovac so that is good.

When using 1/2 inch needles, sometimes I have to back it out a bit in order to depress the plunger. when using the auto injector I have it set to 3/8 inches and is always perfect. I went through the same thing and still do.

The Autoject looks just like the one I use. Mine is marked Autoject EL though and mine is white.
