Re: Confidence after implant
I am not confident that mine won't blow out while pumping it up (like my first one did after just 4.5 years....). Can't afford another one when this one blows out. Hopefully it will last longer than the first one...

Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
Yes, but not being able to orgasm every time is a real bummer.

Re: anxiety caused by defective implant device..
First one was an AMS LGX 750. Thr replacement is an LGX CX (surgeon says the CX is a bit sturdier/thicker walls than the LGX 750).

Re: implant via a subcoronal approach?
Surgeon makes a shallow incision all the way around the corona (area below the head) and then pulls the skin down to the base of the penis ("degloving" is what it is called). Allows easier access to everything that way... You can Google some articles and also some videos showing it... http...

Re: pros and cons of penoscrotal incision versus infra pubic
The surgeon makes a shallow cut around the penis (just below the head) and then pulls the skin down in order to put everything in. Then slides the shin back up and stitches it up all the way around.
Google it and you will find some links and videos.

Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
It is somewhat common (you can find dozens of old posts about it on this forum). I lost a lot of sensitivity both time I had implants. It does seem to get a bit better after a year or so. Or maybe you just get used to it. I can sometimes orgasm during sex now, but not always. It is very frustrating ...

anxiety caused by defective implant device..
My first implant ($22,000 cost to me) stopped working after just 4.5 years of moderate usage (left cylinder developed a leak in the crease and all the fluid leaked out when I started pumping it one day). I got a new implant put in ($10,000 cost to me) a few months later, and now I have a great deal ...

implant via a subcoronal approach?
My first implant was via an infra-pubic approach, and when it wore out after just 4 years I had another implant. It was done via a sub-coronal approach. Anyone else had an implant via a sub-coronal approach?

Re: pros and cons of penoscrotal incision versus infra pubic
Well, there is a third type of incision. Have you considered it? It is called a subcoronal approach.
