Re: 26 y/o considering implant
So today I had a dorsal vein ligation Long story short, here in the UK and being on the NHS you have to usually go through the whole treatment paradigm before you end up with an implant. After hearing and reading negative reviews of venous ligation I was hesitant, particularly around the lack of suc...

Re: 26 y/o considering implant
Unfortunately in the NHS in the UK you can't just ask for an implant, you sometimes have to go through the process of first line treatments / exhausting treatments before. Going back on my last post, has anyone actually heard or know anyone who has had venous ligation and it to be successful in both...

Re: 26 y/o considering implant
Update from me post my doppler and follow up with consultant: Doppler: I had my doppler two weeks ago and to no surprise the caverject didn't produce a satisfactory erection, however I was told it showed strong blood flow into the penis but a large outflow; venous leak. Consultation: I went for my a...

Re: For the young people
My appointment with my consultant is next week and if he agrees the implant is the best course of action then I will probably undergo surgery 6-8 weeks later. It is a daunting thought..... When you weigh up the pros and cons, I personally feel they outweigh the negatives Pros - take back control of ...

Re: For the young people
Similar situation to many of you. 27 - had ED problems since 19. Tried cialis, viagra, caverject, test replacement therapy, sexual counselling. Don't get a proper erection when I masturbate and probably haven't have morning wood in 8 years. I have been with one two girls including my girlfriend of 7...

I can completely identify with everything you have posted. Do you ever wake up with an erection? Have you tried injections?
I have had ED since 19 and am now 27......I am finally deciding to go ahead with an implant and wish I hadn't waited so long

Re: Gollam decided suicide
This is terribly sad news. Gollam seemed like a great guy and helped me with various questions I had around doctors in the UK. He had been PM'ing me as we were both going to be under the care of Dr Ralph / his team at UCLH.....we both had appointments in the next week or so and planned to update eac...
