Re: Connection with Implant & Sexuality

That is hard question for someone else to answer. Ultimately the answer will be completely up to you. But, I can tell you that for myself, the implant is very much part of me. There is no rejection, only embracing it as a cure for a physical problem. Like a knee replacement or hip replacement or a p...

Re: Psychological Impact After Penile Implant

Kind of easy to answer, for myself anyway. Right after the procedure it was kind of like WTF HAVE I DONE TO MY DICK!!! wasn't bad and that feeling didn't last long at all. After that it was , OK, this is great, I've got a working dick again. Then the regret of not having done it 15 years earlier. No...

Re: Is it normal for the new flaccid to look look like the old hardon

Don't know how long you've been implanted. But yes it's normal for a new implant to stick out. At ieast in my case. But as txagq8 said it should go soften up and go down. I doubt it will ever go back to what you once was mainly because you now have 2 tunbes in there, and though they are flexible the...

Re: Leaving it pumped 10%

I, and this is just my thoughts, don't think there would be a problem. When you deflate completely and squeeze all or as much fluid out, after a few minutes you get a sort of auto refill. So there will be some fluid in the tubes. So i really doubt that a pump or two will hurt anything. I know my own...

Re: Question, why do some of you write "I wished I did the operation sooner"?

Hello. I'm one of those who "Wish I had done it sooner " people. A LOT .sooner. But my reason was mainly because I hadn't really ever heard of an implant. Pills did Simi ok and the wife's early losing lack of interest in sex, I never seemed to have much need in finding anything else. But w...

Re: What size will it be after implant?

Hello. I know 7 months seem like a long time but with a implant it's not . As others said cycle and us it. You most likely you will be a flater, oval not trivial as a nature is, just because of the nature of what an implant is. With a good Dr, loss should be at a minimum, if any. But as Smetro said....

Re: Anybody Here In A Sexless Marriage But Going Forward With Implant?

Sexless marriage for over 15 years. Implanted for 5. Yes I hoped it would help change things but it didn't. The main reason for me getting an implant was FOR ME. Feel much better about myself. Enough so that if it was to break today, I would be making arrangements to get it replaced tomorrow.

Re: Explain; why is it safe to fly and scuba dive with implant?

True, but still a good question. When I got my pacemaker I had to ask about diving. When I did the Dr didn't really have the answer because it's not asked that often, He had to get intouch with the manufacturer rep to get the answer. And the rep had to call the manufacturer to find out for sure. I'v...

Re: Explain; why is it safe to fly and scuba dive with implant?

Actually that's a good question. There are parts of an implant that mam not be able to take the pressure of scuba diving. I have a pace macker. It's made or metal but mine is only good for diving down tho just under 100'. Even though it's made of metal, and inside of my chest, the pressure of 80 +fe...
