Re: Semi-Rigid Implant Pictures Questions

I agree with the two gentlemen above. Go inflatable. I have had mine for about 10 weeks. For me it is almost as good as the real thing and it is more reliable.

Re: So everyone's using the hernia excuse but what if...

I told people that I had some quality of life issues that were a result of my prostate cancer and that the surgery was going to help clear up those issues. Beyond that I didn't say anything. Most people immediately stopped asking questions the moment I mentioned cancer. Based upon the look on their ...

Re: Titan , length cuestion.

FlaDon It wasn't my surgeon's protocol, it was mine based upon a lot of reading I had done and the urologist (who is no longer in practice) that was treating me for ED after my prostatectomy. I had a 4 year gap between the prostatectomy and getting the implant. It had been insurance issues. When I t...

Re: Titan , length cuestion.

Based upon all of the accounts I have read over the last 4 years I have to agree with "dg_moore". Most people (including those with a Titan) start out shorter right after surgery and then they continue to grow to the stretched length. My activation experience was a bit different. When I ac...

Re: how many time for first activation?

I'm not sure what you mean by "how many time" My actual appointment took less than 10 minutes. I had already located the release button before the appointment. The doctor told me that was the part that gave most people a problem. The time between surgery and activation was supposed to be 6...

Re: An Activation Sticky Needed

I had my activation on March 3. The whole appointment took less than 15 minutes. I think the doctor was expecting a longer appointment. Before activation I had spent a lot of time feeling around. I had figured out where the release valve was located. It paid off. I haven't had any problems. I had a ...

Activated today

Well I finally got activated today. It is 2 days shy of being 8 weeks since I got the implant. It should have happened 2 weeks ago. However, there were scheduling issues (me not the doctor) and then it was a bad snow storm. When I left the hospital I was about 40% inflated. About 3 weeks later I had...

Re: Who really did your surgery?

I probably had a similar situation when I had mine put in at Duke. My wife also added a couple of details from her perspective as a retired RN. I assume the following were in the Operating Room * The Surgeon * Surgical Nurse * Anesthesiologist * Nurse Anesthetist * Another Nurse going after things *...

Re: Questions about activation

Rick I will let you know how it goes in about 10 days or so. I get activated on Feb 27. In a way I already have been activated. About the 3rd week after surgery I was feeling the pump. I thought I gave it just a couple of light squeezes. However, it was enough to fully inflate me. There was some pai...

Re: implant and cold penis

I got a Titan 4 weeks ago today. My penis has never felt cold since then. There are times when I thought it might feel a bit warmer. I am assuming that is because saline in the fluid reservoir is being kept warm by my natural body heat. Go to Google Images and enter "penile blood flow diagram&q...
