Re: WindWizard’s (19m) Implant Journal
Hey kid, my new Bionic brother albeit a much younger one, welcome aboard! Hey I'm about 5 weeks ahead of you and I have to say I'm pretty much pain free so hang in there. Now let me give you a tip that may help you with urination. It was very difficult for me to pee after the catheter was removed. H...

Re: 19 years old, Implant Surgery Scheduled with Dr. Karpman!
Hello, I recently (August 27th) had my Coloplast Titan implanted by Dr Karpman at the El Camino Hospital in Los Gatos. So far so good! Dr. K had 5 implants on the 27th (3 AMS, 2 Coloplast). I decided on Coloplast based on my research. His staff are excellent. The team at El Camino Hospital top notc...

Re: One Year Post Surgery
Thanks for the update guys. Im just through month#1. Got the green light for sex. Back to the gym and hitting it hard. Cycling 2x daily for an hour. Getting more adept at pumping and deflating. Still feel some initial discomfort/burning but after the first few minutes pumped it passes. Looking for t...

Re: Pre and Post
Quester, you crack me up dude! You're waaaaay cooler than me with your piercings. :D Your pictures are looking good. Glad you're progressing along. Today's my graduation day, Karpman is going to check me out and I'm confident give me the green light to sex. 23 days since the operation. I can cycle, ...

Re: recovery time before returning to activities after surgery
RPD, Hi. I'm just at 3 weeks. I would say pretty consistently over the last week I've been at the gym to do some gentle walking on the treadmill, 1.5 - 2 miles at a very slow rate (15 - 20 min mile). All dictated by how sore I am after, or if I'm feeling discomfort during I slow down or stop. I beli...

Re: Getting implanted next Wed. OMG
Numansoon, I'm a relatively new bionic brother on here, but what I heard repeated often from older brothers was this is a good decision and it will get better over time. I'm on Day 18 of recovery, and nearly all swelling, bruising and pain (yes, unfortunately there's pain but ymmv) is gone and I'm e...

Re: Pre and Post
Quester for what's it's worth my pain greatly subsided, not completely vanished, on Day 11. Admittedly everyone is different. But the resounding motto (it seems to me I've heard over and over again) 'it gets better with time'. All the best my bionic brother, I'm sitting at day 17 - swelling way down...

Re: Inflate/Deflate: standing up or laying down
I'm in the same boat Quester. Glad it's helping. I tried the sitting down process today, for me easier to deflate than inflate. But I'm going to keep trying them all.

Re: Inflate/Deflate: standing up or laying down
Thanks MK. That's what I'm finding too, but I'm fairly new to the and trying to figure it out. Appreciate the input.
