He can do all the tests, and it's covered by insurance.
Insurance usually doesn't cover trimix, you get it from a compounding pharmacy.

I tried everything before getting an implant. The pills worked at first. When they stopped I tried gels and creams, they didn't work. I also tried VED with cock rings, worked but was uncomfortable. I was implanted on Oct 26th.
My Dr. told me to wear compression shorts.
I didn't have much pain, but my penis wanted more to stand straight out.
It takes time to get used to it, but it will get better.
Although I didn't use my pain meds, you may want to, everybody reacts different.

It's a bit pricey, but it was the only way I could get off after trimix stopped working.
