Re: Soft / Floppy Glans

Cock ring will do it. Sadly not. :-( Tried lots of different rings in different positions. They never worked for me at all before injections, and make no difference to the head of the penis with an injection. My SN always suggested that there was Venous leakage, as well as other circulation damage ...

Soft / Floppy Glans

I am interested to learn whether other “injection users” experience the same ‘floppy’ or soft head syndrome that I do. Since I started using injections ( first Alprostadil, then Invicorp ) I am very aware of the lack of firmness in the glans as compared to the shaft of the penis. This is consistent,...

Re: Sourcing Needles (UK)

Thanks for the input. Some time ago, I read that using a new needle for the injection minimised pain and also site trauma, so that’s been my method. What do other injection users do? Use the same needle to draw from the vial and then inject, or change needles for optimum sharpness? Note: not relevan...

Sourcing Needles (UK)

Can anyone in the U.K. help me to find a supplier of 30G or 31G needles in a ¼” or 5/8” length? I have been using ½” needles but would like to try something shorter. I know that I can buy Insulin Syringes, but they are fixed syringe/ needle systems ( i.e used for drawing dose and injecting ) and I p...

UK Users - Specialist Examination

I am a UK user of Invicorp ( aviptadil/phentolamine mesilate ) prescribed under the NHS since June of this year. I was originally prescribed Alprostadil ( Caverject / Viridal ) in January but found the pain was too much, and was referred by my Specialist Nurse to a Consultant who prescribed Invicorp...

Re: How soon can I inject again?

and this is the medical view that doesn't make sense to me.

If 'scarring' only occurs as a result of physical trauma (i.e. the needle) but you have a good rotation of injection sites (in my case about 20 different positions) then why is frequency linked to the risk of fibrosis and scarring?

NHS UK Prescriptions / Diabetes T2

Are there any UK members who were prescribed with any ED meds other than Sildenafil when they had T2 Diabetes, and then found that their Diabetes went into remission. What happened with regard to your NHS prescription? I have just discovered that because of weight loss, I may be coming off the Diabe...

Re: Invicorp Trials

Yes - NHS Invicorp is descibed in NHS policies as a 2nd / 3rd line option for "patients not responding or intolerant to Alprostadil, as an option before referral for surgical procedure." Tell your GP that the pain is too much and you would like a referral. If you go down the "not-resp...

Re: Invicorp Trials

Have now moved onto Invicorp after 4+ months of Caverject pain, and I'm very impressed so far. Absolutely no pain and better erections than with Caverject. Apparently it is better for people with venous leak (the AVP component has much better veno-occlusive properties than Alprostadil). I have been ...
