Hi everybody.

I’m 24 days post-op and recovering well. I’ve noticed that I’m having some lingering, internal pain where the reservoir sits. Is this to be expected? It’s not crippling pain, but kind of a nuisance.

2 weeks to the day since my surgery. My penile stitches are healing and the lower abdominal incision is still closed! LOL

One thing I’ve noticed in recent days is a real tenderness in my suprapubic fat pad. I haven’t really noticed this before. Is this normal?

My secondary incision is on my waistline to the left of my belly button. My doc said that after looking at a CT scan of my bowel, the fear was perforating it if they didn’t put it where they did. Not the best location for healing.

Glad to hear it’s going well. I got home yesterday and had a pretty restful night. I put a pillow between my knees to sleep, which helped me sleep on my side. Keep us posted on how you’re doing.
