Invicorp Trials
As someone who has not been able to deal with the pain from Viridal / Caverject, I discussed the problem with a Consultant yesterday, who has agreed that I should move onto Invicorp, as he was fairly confident that this would resolve the problem. As a previous 'low-dose' Alprostadil user, I am hopef...

UK Private Health System Implant Cost
Does anyone have indicative costs of an implant in the U.K. private system (I.e. outside of the N.H.S)?

Re: Alprostadil - Pain Relief
Never found a ring that worked for me in the days before injections.
Do they work differently under Alprostadil?

Thinking about using a Pump
I have posted elsewhere about my problems with pain from Alprostadil injections. After having to increase the dose some weeks ago, the pain is becoming a problem. (Note - I am in the UK so Trimix is not available) One option suggested by Specialist Nurse for me is to consider a pump and rings. She s...

Re: Alprostadil - Pain Relief
Had an unscheduled call from Specialist Nurse, so here’s an update. Suggested I try Paracetemol, and if that didn’t work Ibuprofen. Ibuprofen second choice because of greater bruising risk - also why Aspirin not advisory. Advised to take 45 minutes before injecting. I am to contact her if it doesn’t...

Re: Generic vs Brand Name PDE5s
Most consistent I ever found was Tadacip, but my feeling was that it was about 80% effective vs Cialis

Alprostadil - Pain Relief
It would seem that I am one of the unfortunate minority who experience pain during and after the effects of Alprostadil (Viridal). I inject 3 times per week and I use a relatively low dose. My NHS Specialist Nurse thought that the pain would reduce once I got used to the medication, but there is no ...

Best Injection Sites?
Would appreciate feedback from members on where they inject to achieve the best results, as I am injecting 3 times a week and want to minimise risk of scarring etc. I have seen advice on the Web which ranges enormously: a) from 1 o’clock to 5 o’clock (and 11 o’clock to 7 o’clock) b) from where the b...
