Re: Implant in 3 days

Congrats on going through with the surgery. If you are like me, you will wonder why it took so long to make the decision. I wish you a relatively pain free and speedy recovery. I am six months since my surgery and remain convinced it was one of the best things that I have ever done!

Well, I guess I'm happy that I received my implant during February.

Re: Small testies/implant

I have been on testosterone replacement therapy for years and my testicles also have shrunk. I am now almost 5 months post implant and my scrotum has adapted to the new resident (the pump) without any problems. I, frankly, have been amazed, but it really does all work out.

Re: How anatomically correct are implants?

I think you may be focusing too much on appearance and not the real reason I, and most of us, was implanted. My "original" penis no longer functioned. It is darned hard to have sex without an erection. So I am happy to have a penis that works when I want it to work. Yes, it may be a little...

Re: Numbness , 5 weeks post surgery

I was implanted in February and still have numbness along the underside and along the suture line. I am told it will go away, but nerves regenerate very slowly. I do sense it is getting better. I, sadly, can't help with the urgency issues except to suggest kegeling. https://www.mayoclinic.org/health...

Re: New member

Well…made surgery date for 6/24/21. Been told it’ll be the AMS 700 LGX. To say I’m scared silly is an understatement, but having been lurking on FT for a while I realize everyone is before hand. I want to thank you all for the HOURS I’ve spent reading your advise, stories, worries and experiences a...

Re: Ice

I highly recommend rotating bags of frozen peas. They can be refrozen and do not leak. They also are easier to form fit around the areas needing the ice.

Re: Implanted May 25th

Wow--what a tale. Welcome to the club. Your experience is what worried me most when I was injecting as I always had three-to four hour erections and was developing peyronie's. But, I am glad it is all working out for you. Here's hoping you enjoy your new equipment as much as I have been enjoying mine.

Re: Uncomfortable doctors visit

I have a female PA as well and have become comfortable talking to her about my issues and treatment. She is a professional. She has heard it all. She was the one I initially asked about the feasibility of getting an implant. My advice is don't use slang, but tell her everything that is bothering you...

Re: I am finally bionic!!

Awesome Jersey, get the ice bag. You will be a success story! Yes sir, got multiple ice bags and laying flat for next 2 days. Good time to catch up on reading and Movies. Here is a thought--use frozen peas instead of ice. Rotate the frozen bags of peas in the freezer. I rotated three frozen pea bag...
