Re: Hoping to maintain size-Clavell

Really there is no reason why anybody would lose length. With the AMS kit doctors get a measuring device where they know exactly what length of the cylinders without adding too many rte's, but IF they do have to make adjustments, that is what the rte's are for. When implants first started coming out...

Re: How many revisions should a 35 year old expect?

It all depends. Like any thing mechanical it can last a long time like my first one lasted 15 years. But my second one the pump failed or was not working proper from the start, so I call it a failure after lasting only ten months. So since I love the implants I had a second revision and am now going...

Re: Maintaining girth with titan

I have been able to maintain 8" length and 5.7 inches in girth. But I have a LGX not a Titan. I really am happy with my last revision. This was my second revision because of a MS pump failure after ten months. This other one has worked perfect.

Re: why pull down on the pump

Before surgery I made sure I told the surgeon that I wanted the pump set way down low in the scrotum. On my first revision the surgeon left the pump too high and when I would get an erection the pump looked like a ball at the base of the shaft. Doctor kept saying to pull it down, but it never really...

I do not see anything wrong with showing off. I have always had a pretty good basket, but if you feel uncomfortable, do not buy pants that are so tight.

Re: Immediate Post op size - 1 inch short with AMS LGX 700 18+1

Yes you should regain that one inch you think you lost. I know after my second revision I measured seven inches. After a year of cycling I have gained one inch to eight inches and a good girth gain. So I am a happy person. But do not worry about your loss it is early from your surgery. It will will ...

Re: Revision#3 in 4 years

Never seen a cylinder peel off like the one shown on the picture. I have had two different. The first implant was an Ultrex 700 by AMS which lasted 15 years. Then I had the revision and I had a AMS 700 LGX with ms pump. Well that did not last very long the pump kept sticking and finally it just stop...

Re: What happens after an infection?

My first implant was twenty years ago. Have had two revisions after the first. Never have gotten an infection. Love my LGX by AMS. Looks natural, big and works great. It is important to get a surgeon experienced on how to do it right.

Re: Taking the plunge, finally

Don't worry, you will be just fine and you will love it. I had my first implant when I was around 58, have had two revisions after the first which lasted fifteen years. Now I have the LGX which is really great for me. The second revision was the easiest for me. I was all healed up on the third week ...

Re: What did you tell family/friends you were going into surgery for when you were being implanted?

Repair of a hernia on the groin area. If some family member was to ask. In my situation my wife is the only one that knows. But in the last twenty years a couple of my friends were having problems with prostrate cancer and suffered from ED and were really taking it hard that their sex was over. So I...
