I too have drank 7-8 beers before injecting many times and it has NEVER had an effect when injecting. I don't see how it could affect a "Chemical" hardon.

Using a 18 gauge is very brave! But, if it's working... I personally use BD 30G 1/2. They seem to never bounce of the tunica as they're very sharp and I feel practically zero pain.
