Re: Ready, get set, go?

I'm inclined to agree totally with DaveKell. I couldn't do the moderator job for one hour much less all the time that Larry has performed that function. As I said before in this thread and others, I would not be anywhere near the level of understanding needed to make a rational decision about my ED ...

Re: Pseudo-coffin #2

All...MOST interesting reading and discussion. In light of my upcoming implant this Thursday (11/8), I will wait until my post-op appointment with Dr. Ellen on 11/15 to put the pseudo-coffin issue to him. While I'm not obsessed with size I am not about to give him an erect pre-op 6.5" specimen ...

Re: Ready, get set, go?

Robo/ Larry/ Happy/ Dave/ Leek/ Donnie...as a relatively new member, I am very glad to see that a new calm has settled over FT!! I am always dismayed by rancor in the group and have not butted in when the issue/ details are not pertinent to me personally. I totally understand that ED, its debilitati...

Re: Advice for pre oppers and recently implanted.

Thanks, Floppy. I don't know what my surgeon's follow-up protocol will be either. I know that the day following surgery, I return to the surgi-center and a nurse will remove the catheter; no other information given so far but I plan (if not before I walk out of the center on the 8th then the next da...

Re: Advice for pre oppers and recently implanted.

Thanks, Opie!! With my surgery scheduled for 10 days and a wake up (11/8), I've been wondering what pain killers would be the best to use other than the ones I may walk out of the surgi-center with or pick up at the pharmacy on the way home. Very glad you posted this and I'll keep it in mind. I retu...

Re: Positions

If surgeon does a good job, every position is possible. Sorry for quality, these pics from video First is anal on top OH MY!!! Be still my heart! What beautiful pics... Oh, that my procedure produces such a perfect-looking product as you have shared (especially the 'rear' entry). Can I say that?!? ...

Re: Satisfaction? Absolutely

Well said, Willy. You have shone like a beacon of hope to future implantees like me (24 days and a wake up)! Thank you for your upbeat attitude and positive results after dealing with many more urological problems than I have. Although we shared the 'inability to penetrate' issue that has frustrated...

Re: More Surgery

Best wishes to you, Larry. You are like a beacon for us all on FT! Thanks for your guidance and 'moderation' when it comes to discussions and maintaining the civility that often escapes us in our daily lives.

Re: Dr Eid's opinion on maximizing size and Coloplast vs AMS

This is a great post...agree with everyone. Problem is when it comes to post-op cycling, my uro surgeon will not even teach me how to inflate and deflate until after 6 weeks!!! I'm not sure if my penis falls into the wider variety but, it seems, Eid's recommendation is that I might be better off cyc...

Re: Pain block

I did Google 'nerve block' and am in process of reading all 8 pages of the pdf. Not sure if I want/ need one but I will ask my surgeon if he uses it. He didn't mention it during my first/ only appointment but that wasn't the time/ place to get into those details. In all likelihood, it won't make any...
