Re: Report time for surgery
Best wishes Jeff. You got this ... a couple of less than fun days immediately after surgery, then things will start to get better quickly. Let us know how your doing and if we can offer any insights to help.

Re: Skier is Bionic!
2 week update: So far so good. Swelling way down (can easily locate and manipulate the pump - although haven't tried to inflate yet.) No bruising at all (never really had much to speak of.) First day back at work today (office job). Got so busy with work I pretty much just forgot about the implant m...

Re: It’s done and hurts like hell
Hey Biker, Hang in there. My pain was pretty severe day 1 post-op, but then cut in half each day thereafter. If you can tough it out for a couple of days you should be home free. I askd for extra pain med on day 1 ... but by day 3 I diidn't need any at all except ibuprofen. Hang in there. Wishing yo...

Re: What do young women think about implants?
Here's what it comes down to guys: Would you rather have to explain why you can't get hard enough long enough to satisfy her no matter how hard you try? Or would you rather have to explain why you are a waaaaaay better lover than any guy she has ever or will ever be with? I'll take option #2 every d...

Re: Skier is Bionic!
Went to Dr. Levine's office today to have catheter removed. Was seen by the PA (who is excellent). She removed it slowly and with no pain whatsoever ... piece of cake. She said everything looks fine and wound is healing as it should. She also said I would not be "in the clear" as far as in...

Re: Skier is Bionic!
Thanks Wayne - that sounds like an excellent suggestion. Dr. Levine wants me to come in so they can check my wound healing, in addition to removing the catheter. I also don't have a syringe which I *think* is needed to deflate the balloon? So I will probably just wait until Monday and let them remov...

Re: Skier is Bionic!
Day 4 update: So I REAAAAAAAAAAALY don't want to jinx myself here - but things are going miraclously smooth so far. Unwrapped John Henry and the Boys on Tuesday. No bruising, minimal swelling, nice and pink. JH looks kinda short but Dr. Levine leaves you completely uninflated for the first 30 days s...
