Re: Preventing Fibrosis/Scarring from injections

I had been using Trimix for a little less than a year and just recently switched over to straight PGE due concerns with scarring. I have not had any scarring from Trimix but I just didn't want to take any chances going forward. I have also been consulting with Dr. Eid and he said that "Trimix ...

Re: Lack of engorgement

As someone who has not yet been implanted and just recently started injections, I was curious about the engorgement for you implanted guys. Am I to understand that most implanted guys are able to attain engorgement? Or is that just dependent on the guy?

Re: Question

I also injected for 12 years with no problems with scaring or with my implant surgery. Just curious. Did you inject Trimix for the whole 12 years? Or did you try different mixes? I injected for all of the 12 yrs. After about 10 yrs., the "mixture" was changed to increase the effect and as...

Re: Question about scarring —How would I know?

Thanks for the info guys. I am still fairly new with injections but these are things that I really should consider if an implant is in my future (which I do believe it is). I probably should switch over to monomix.

Re: Question about scarring —How would I know?

I felt a lump at one of my injection sites. However, when Dr. Eid installed my implant, his surgical notes said my shaft was obliterated with scarring (after just 8 months of injecting). Dr. Eid confirmed that lumps are a sign of scarring. What are the issues with scarring when it comes to getting ...

Re: Trying Monomix of Prostaglandin E1 After Trimix

Thanks Crazyjoe. Yeah, stories like yours have me thinking I should maybe at least attempt the switch despite being pleased with the Trimix results. At 48, I'd ideally like to get 10 to 15 years out of the injections before considering an implant. I know there's no guarantee they'll even be effecti...

Re: First injection — and success!

I asked about why the bimix and he said it was mostly convenience because it doesn’t need to be refrigerated. He also said that some guys have a burning or ache with the PGE. Given my age and relative good health, he said he thought the bimix would work and was worth a shot to start. It definitely ...
