Re: Surgery yesterday need support

Congratulations jojolee, I had my implant in June, 2019. You may experience discomfort & some frustration for a few days. I know I was on this website a lot before, & after my surgery. These guys are awesome at supporting you after your surgery. The most important thing I found helpful in my...

Re: Orlando, Florida

Hi flguy261, I had mine done in June, 2019 by Dr. Richard Roach in The Villages. Very happy with the results. He will implant either the Coloplast or the AMS. I decided on the AMS 700 LGX. Good luck with your decision, Bailey

Re: Florida/Georgia Implant Specialist

Hi Bizzmann, I did extensive research for over a year on both surgeons & the two different kinds of implant manufacturers. I decided to go with Dr. Richard Roach, & I highly recommend him. He’s located in central Florida, & has done several implants over the past 25 years. It’s now been ...

Re: infrapubic and icing

I can only speak for myself, but my surgeon recommended using ice frequently for a week to 10 days. I found it to be my best friend for reducing the swelling. My implant was also done infrapubic 10 months ago. Good luck, Bailey

Re: Ball sac

Masonjames, I have a very small sac also. I even ask my surgeon prior to surgery if I had enough room for the AMS 700 LGX MS pump, & he said yes. Nevertheless I was really concerned about being too tight & small for the pump. Early on it was an issue, but now after 10 months since my surgery...

Re: 1 year with implant

Hi Bionic guys, I’m only 10 months out, but have to say that we are very satisfied with the decision we made. The 1st few months before & after my surgery I was on this site everyday picking these awesome guys brains. It was very instrumental in helping me make my decision. I can now say that fo...

Re: Is lockout valve bad if you slightly inflate again?

Waynetho, Thanks for the excellent information. When I deflate I do feel a vibration of saline returning to the reservoir for about 4 seconds like the AMS instructions say, but after awhile I notice that I am slightly inflated from my original deflation again. I just assumed that it was the pump &am...

Re: Is lockout valve bad if you slightly inflate again?

Your right Frederickdave, I’ve also tried it various ways too, & I still auto inflate a small amount. Just enough that whenever I urinate I find myself squeezing to remove some of the saline. I guess if that’s all I have to deal with, I can live with it. Thanks

Is lockout valve bad if you slightly inflate again?

Just curious if anyone after deflation find that your penis gradually starts slowly inflating again? Not inflated completely, but around 30%. Is there an issue with the valve not locking out or what? I can squeeze my penis again to deflate, but why don’t I stay completely deflated. I thought that on...
