Re: Getting an implant when I turn 60

Now as to the malleable, it is fine if you have a short or small penis, but if you are over seven inches, it would be a big problem trying hide such lengths. Personally I would not want my penis to be that big all the time, to me it would be embarrassing. JMHO!

Re: Getting an implant when I turn 60

Well ready to go every case is different I suppose. For me Carverject was just too painful sticking a small quarter inch needle on the side of my penis was just too painful. And sure it would give me an engorged penis, but it had for me like a burning sensation, seemed like I had inserted my penis i...

Re: Where is the Pump Supposed to Sit Exactly?

For me the best spot for the pump is at the base of the scrotum. Easy to get to and the testicles do not get on the way. On my first revision they left it too high and it was almost at the base of the penis. I made sure I told the surgeon on my second revision exactly where I wanted it. He done a gr...

Re: Getting an implant when I turn 60

Yes I had failure on the first implant after fifteen years, the pump just stopped working. So I had a revision which lasted only ten months and again a different type of pump which was the ms pump also stopped working. So I went to a different surgeon and he told me that there were things he had to ...

Re: Getting an implant when I turn 60

I would never suggest injections like Caverject. They are painful and it traumatizes your penis to where you start getting symptoms of pyronines, curvature of the penis. Three piece implant is the way to go. I am 80 now, but I had my first implant at 58 years old. I take good care of my body and mos...

Re: Hematoma Recovery Question

Yes I had a hematoma, my scrotum was almost all black, but by applying ice packs as much as possible it was gone in a couple of weeks.

Re: Oval Shape

Mine if not inflated enough might be a little oval, but if pumped all the way, it is round as can be to where I can barely get my fingers all around it. I have the LGX though. So that might be the difference. Not sure!

Re: Issues with AMS

The problem is the surgeon did not pull the cylinders far enough into the gland. The tips should be about quarter inch from the tip of your penis giving like just enough meat for cushioning. Need to have a good surgeon pull them tips well into the gland, then add some rte's at the base to compensate...

Re: One Month update: AMS lgx

Congratulations on your implant. You will love it and nice to be able to get an erection again is so important to a man. I have had three piece implants now for twenty two years give or take. Ultrex and LGX and I am going to post something here that I have experienced in that time and that the two f...

Re: Prostate Cancer survivor and a Future implant

I also had my prostrate removed because I had a small spot close to the prostrate in the urethra about quarter inch in size. The surgeon gave me several options on what to do about the cancer. He said radiation was like a micro wave beam which would actually burn the spot and that there was the poss...
