18 Months Post Op
It has now been 18 months since my implant by Dr. Milam at Vanderbilt. I can hardly tell you what it has done to change my life. It is amazing what a hard on will do for a mans ego after not being able to have one for years. Two and a half months before my implant I was in the hospital for 10 days a...

Re: what do wives think
Consult I had my surgery 10/23/08 at Vanderbilt. About 3 months ago I asked my wife. "How do I feel now during sex?" she said "Jack, you feel just like you always have." We have been married 41 years and she is very honest and open and would tell me if it was not so. I have been ...

Re: What Would You Like to Know?
Paul I agree with everything Mike says plus I have a couple of things. 1. The AMS website is way out of date. They still list the old Ultrex. Thres is no mention of the LGX on the web site you have to go to http://www.amslgx.com to find it. 2. They recommend the AMS CX on the web site for men with p...

Re: VA Clinic Tomorrow, suggestions
Great to hear that you are going to get the care you need at the VA. As for the new GP just be open and up front with him. Do not knock him down at first by insisting on an implant, explain your problem to him and make him your advocate. Before you get to the urologist send me an email and I will fo...

Re: PRE-IMPLANT QUESTIONS
Ted There are a few of us on this forum that have implants. I had mine 10/23/08 at Vanderbilt by Dr. Douglas Milam. I have a rough draft of my journey calling it "One Mans Journey". If you would like a copy send me an email to jwp104@att.net. I also have more information if you would like....

Dave
My lung doctor just put me on Xolair shots for my allergic asthma.
They are new and I have to go to the hospital to get them. The next day I felt much better even though it is supposed to take some time for it to work. The goal of the shots is to get me off the other asthma meds.

Re: ED, Size and Treatment
Dave As one sleep apnea sufferer to another there is hope and help. As you and I know the CPAP and sex do not mix. You have not asked for advise so I will try to tell you some of the things I have done. My journey has been a long one and most of it is posted in the implant section on this forum and ...

Re: 2 week checkup
Ben Great news. As a fellow grower I can relate to the joy of making love, cum and still remain inside her. My implant has been a blessing in so many ways. The joy of returning to a normal sexual relationship wth my wife of 41 years has made me feel young again. As for the testicular pain, try Jocke...

Re: what type of underwear do you like- briefs or boxers
Bill I am 17 months post op and I can tell you it gets better quickly. At your 3 months check up you will still have some discomfort but still very usable for sex. I found the Jockey Pouch Briefs to be a lot of help and support. The best thing I found was pumping up the implant for at least 5 minute...

Re: My Story Through Implant on 3/3/10
Ben A good and well written story. There is only one thing the good doctor has missed. The LGX is now recommended for peyronies patients. I have peyronies and that is the implant I have. Dr. Douglas Milam at Vanderbilt in Nashville TN has an article in The Journal Urology coming out in the next few ...
