Re: 1 year post-prostatectomy and 5 months after Trimix

Thanks guys, I'm pretty sensitive to trimix, so I'm going to ask ED doc about trying oral meds again or bimix. What happens after I injected the last couple of times is what trimix is supposed to do. Except, it seems I overshoot 100% useful (pre-surgery) hardness and size and then junior actually st...

1 year post-prostatectomy and 5 months after Trimix

It's been just a bit over a year since open surgery for prostate cancer. It's been a little over 5 months since starting Trimix. The first several months after surgery were frustrating. I was getting great results with my VED for a while. That stopped. The oral meds didn't do much except give me a h...

Re: Having Retropubic Prostatecomy

After my open Radical Prostatectomy in May 09, I had far less post-surgery pain than I did with a hernia surgery 4 years earlier. I was up and active walking to my chair from my bed within hours of waking up...the hallway soon after. The catheter was a pain in the butt, but, I dealt with more of a n...

Re: Having Retropubic Prostatecomy

I didn't have any anesthetics with my TRUS biospy. Nothing. I think it was more in my mind in terms of anticipation stress, or whatever label you would like to put on it. I was fine. I had mine done in a hospital clinic that has a specialist doing prostate biospsies. I wouldn't walk away from an exp...

Re: Tri-Mix2 Experience

Hi Bonefish, I just had my first injection recently. I was started at was is considered the minimum dose of 0.1 ml. Did work, but did not give me anything useful. Next try is a higher dose. I'm surprised you were started at 0.4 as a first dose...but then...I'm new to this. Good luck with stuff witho...

ED Topic: Saw an ED doc today

Well, I got to see an ED doc today. He's a Uro. Part of a large hospital clinic with 5 other Uros, 20 residents and support staff. Experience was good. He was open, personable and really seemed to know his stuff. He is aware of most PCa forums and even this site. From what I can recall accurately, t...

Re: When do we throw in the towel on ED

Hey Corvetteman3,

I must be having some finger trouble here. My email to you got bounced back. I asked Paul to send my direct email address to you.

I went and saw an ED doc today...I'll post another thread on that.

All for now,

Re: When do we throw in the towel on ED

Hey Corvetteman3, I'd have to go back and look, but I thought I saw that Trimix Gel had better results than Muse. You may want to get another opinion. I'll recheck. I see an ED doc on Monday and I have a list of questions longer than my present manhood or my appointment time. But, I will press on an...

Re: When do we throw in the towel on ED

Hey Corvetteman3, I'm in what I'm hoping is just a mid-term slump. VED is still doing...but not as dramatic. Meds aren't doing anything except a headache and some weird 60's visual stuff sometimes. Haven't tried injections. Looking at Trimix gel. Haven't had anything usable. I will let you know how ...
