In talking to Kramer, he no longer dilates as a matter of course. So indeed, the tissue is compressed, but can retain function.

Thanks guys. Good info. I talked to Kramer about this. The plan is not to dilate, so in theory, I will retain a percentage of my current function. It may seem silly, but having some of those same sensations will kind of help me transition to using the implant.

Know the feeling. I go into surgery tomorrow and suddenly getting nighttime and morning wood. Have no idea why, and still can't really seem to keep a hard erection even to masturbate. Just concentrating on healing as fast as I can, getting back in the gym and putting my new dick to use.
