You are correct. The hospital just omitted that fact in their billing. Yes, your on the hook for everything else. But that is till 10k that they are billing for when they did incur the charge. Obviously, they have severe billing issues. But charging the same doe install and a 2nd charge for removal ...

Well looks like I am heading for my 3rd implant in 16 months. I am 8 weeks post op today. Fluid collecting around pump is making cycling impossible. I think I will see a new surgeon.
