Re: My Journal
Congratulations TopDog! If everything goes well your going to be a very happy man. I believe what you do on your own after surgery is the key to getting the most out of the device. For starters read this, especially if you have a Coloplast Titan implanted: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2587257...

Re: Post-op implant inflation to mitigate "coffin effect"
Here is the research study I mentioned in my prior post: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25872574 Everyone contemplating getting an implant or who has had one done recently should read this article about the most effective way to recover length. I followed this protocol early on and added about ...

Re: surgeon reviews
I was implanted by Dr. Eid July 15, 2016. So its early days yet. But I was very pleased with the whole thing. Very good Dr./patient interaction....just a genial, nice person, never seemed rushed. Did a cytoscope, good ICP injection test to determine post implant length, the operating facility in NYC...

Re: Post-op implant inflation to mitigate "coffin effect"
My opinion, based more on thinking about it and my own experience, is that the sooner you can activate after surgery the better.......and then keep activating. That reduces the chances of significant scar tissue building up that is difficult if not impossible to stretch out later. I was 6.25" s...

Re: Eid Special
Implanted by Eid July 15. Mine experience was good. Minimal pain, minimal swelling, activated at 13 days (I'm an impatient sort). Presurg measure 6.25 inches, first inflation 5.9", after about 2 weeks more of inflation it was 6.25" as promised. I had severe peyronie/scarring due to an acci...

Re: Size With Dr. Eid
Dr. Eid did my implant July 15 of this year. Prior to he did both the stretch and the ICP test.....he estimated a post implant size of 6.25". Thats what I was getting myself with much larger doses of Quadmix. Note that before I had my accident and developed severe Peyronie my erect penis was a ...

Re: Decision Time
Bummed out.....I had severe scarring, peyronie, prior to the surgery, but it was so generalized my penis was basically straight. I was injecting a full cc of the strongest trimix made. Dr. Eid implanted me on July 15.....absolutely the BEST decision I have made in a long time. Erection at first infl...

Day 13, Activation!
At the first followup appointment (13 days after surgery) everything visible was pretty well healed, there was no swelling, and I'd had little or no pain after the first couple days. Being impatient I was anxious to try the implant even though I know the standard is to wait 4-6 weeks after surgery. ...

Re: 4 WEEKS AND COUNTING
I had a one inch band of fibrotic tissue running diagonal across my penis from an accident then compounded by years of ICP. It was hard as belt leather. My physician (Eid) was able to get through that and implant a Coloplast Titan. They require the largest dilation of the corpus of any implant. So I...
