Re: First post: advice needed! :-)
Based on my own experience, I would try the conservative treatments first. An implant is an irrevocable decision. In my case, although I have a venous leak, a combination of injections plus a constriction ring gives me a hard enough erection for intercourse. The constriction ring appears to overcome...

Re: Questions about Trimix formulas
My understanding is that the prostaglandin is the most effective but, for some men, the amount has to be limited because it causes pain. The papaverine has limited solubility in water; that is why the maximum value is always 30 mg/ml because that is all that will dissolve. I believe that there is a ...

Re: New Doc & not encouraging
My experience is that the pharmacy wants a new prescription every time the proportion of the three drugs changes. I have had this experience with two pharmacies so far.

Re: BiMix dose
In general, 100 units = 1 mL. The syringes that most of us use were created for people who do insulin injection and that is the calibration that those syringes have. Personally, I have not seen a syringe where the total is 3 mL and there are 100 gradations on the shaft. Of course, I can't at all cla...

Re: Injections versus pump
I sent an E-mail to Olympia Pharmacy recently to inquire about their version of Trimix that substitutes forskolin for PGE-1. As part of the reply, I got this statement: A reminder that a Doctor’s prescription is required prior to beginning this medication. We have a preferred TeleMed Doctor that con...

Re: P shot
I tried it twice, separated by about six months. The first time, I saw a small positive effect but it faded away within a few weeks. The second time did nothing as far as I could tell.

Re: Help.....Got my package in the mail today
You are in a unique situation because you apparently have received Trimix without consulting a physician first. Almost all of us on this site received instruction from our doctor, usually a urologist, and had the first one or, sometimes, two injections done in the doctor's office. Seeing the result ...

Re: New ed medications sound promising
The medications in the article sound interesting for the future. However, the new medication containing dapoxetine would be a disaster for those of us who suffer from delayed ejaculation. Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor; the SSRIs are notorious for inhibiting ejaculation or pr...

Re: Pump with injection
For the original poster, let me share my experience. I have ED that is probably partially due to a venous leak. I find that I get my best erections with a combination of techniques: 1) 25 mg of Viagra an hour before lovemaking, 2) Trimix injection just before (8 units of 30-5-50 Trimix) 3) VED and t...
