No I don't think it's too late to get value from using a VED. Get to it.

That's a weak starter mix. Your technique should improve with practice. Be sure to read as many older posts in the injection sub-forum as you can as you'll find many technique suggestions.

I never use the 1:00. I use 2 to 4 and 8 to 10.

Like mine, that one looks to be fairly firm silicone.

I have one, or one extremely similar. It resides in my reject drawer. It must work well for some guys but I'm not one of them. I like the idea but separate rings work better for me.

I don't know about 5 days in a row but multiple days in a row have been known to happen. It's certainly contrary to recommended procedure and doctors advice.
