Re: Becoming Bionic

My doc gave me a Coloplast Titan brochure. Page 8: "If your surgeon agrees you may fill and empty the implant three to four weeks after the operation." Translation from the German brochure ;-) I asked my doc about this and he said "Only do it after six weeks, it's better for the heal...

Re: AMS CX / LGX or Titan???

As a man, of course, I want to maximize what I have as much as possible. So I keep reading about these three different ones. I know it is basically up to your surgeon once you're in the OR and I told my doc I wanted to maximize my size. He also told me he wouldn't know until he got in there but he ...

Re: How soon after implant can the beast be used in anger?

I started cycling 13 days after surgery.
My doc said I could have sex whenever I wanted. Pain was the only limit. Not time.
I did it after 3.5 weeks which was the first time I saw my wife after surgery.

Re: Becoming Bionic

I started at day 13 with minimal pain in penis. Some pain in scrotum when pressing deflate valve.
Eid recommended early cycling. The earlier the better basically.

Re: AMS CX / LGX or Titan???

I think there are enough satisfied patients with all IPP types here to confirm that all types are good (enough). Also, scientific research on patient satisfaction does never reveal any significant differences between the types. The three top surgeons all used to work almost exclusively with Titan, e...

Re: My Journal

5 weeks post op Another working week coming to an end. Had a busy week hosting a conference and one of my goals pre op was to be fit enough to do this without signs of pain/immobility etc. Target accomplished. I am doing fine, I keep getting closer to 100% each week. I still think there is a way to ...

Re: Does this all sound normal post-op?

I just had my surgery on Thursday. Took out the catheter myself this morning, and have been cleaning things up a bit. I have/had Peyronies since very early this year. It was going about 30 degrees to the left. The partially inflated penis is now pointing about 30 degrees left. I thought that the pe...

Re: My Journal

5 weeks post op Progress continues. I would say that by now I feel 99% ok in normal everyday life. Work, travel and just being home with family. I have no pain at all in those situations. I still think I would have some discomfort if pushing it in gym or at the tennis court. Haven't tried yet though...

Re: My Journal

After reading almost all postings I'm quite convinced that there are only two outstanding surgeons: Eid and Kramer. A couple of other surgeons might be very good but they seem to play in a different league. What I don't unterstand is the fact that not all of you, living in the US, go to Eid or Kram...

Re: My Journal

Thanks for info Archway.
Eid is the king.
Interesting that you say you can get more pumps now.
What stopped you from pumping 45-50 in the beginning?
Pain or pump bulb just got too hard?
