Re: After Surgery, Do you always feel the presence of the tubeS?
If you mean do I feel something implanted in my penis when I’m just walking around during the day? No, I don’t. If you mean can I feel the implant when I squeeze my penis, the answer is “kind of.” If I squeeze and try to feel the implanted tubes, I can feel that my flaccid penis is harder than it wa...

Re: Kramer experiences?
Absolutely excellent surgeon. He answers my texts the same day. I feel like I can reach him at any time. I don’t sense he is frustrated by the time spent answering questions; I am surprised anyone would comment that he would be frustrated by talking or corresponding with patients.

Re: My implant journal—Kramer Urology, AMS 700 LGX
Thank you VERY much for that update. 31 hours until I report to the OR. It was what I needed to hear. I am looking down the road a month to where you are today. By my birthday (7 weeks) I ought to find a whole different version of the ubiquitous birthday sex which, in recent years, has been a cross...

Re: My implant journal—Kramer Urology, AMS 700 LGX
Almost 4 weeks post surgery Today I texted Dr Kramer pics of my incision and inflated penis. He gave me the “all clear” for any physical activity, especially intercourse! Also said I am still healing, so I should be able to pump up more fully without pain as time goes by (no surprise to those of us ...

Re: JimStein-My Journal
JimStein, since you are traveling away from home for your surgery, you might want to consider Andrew Kramer in Baltimore, Md. He specializes in patients who travel. Although I suspect that your NYC doc also has special arrangements for out-of-town patients.

Interesting question. We should ask Dr. Kramer. My guess would be after you are given the green light to start cycling.

Thanks! I just tried that, and I find that technique works really well for me, too.

Re: Problem Inflating
You need to give the bulb a quick, strong press. I find it easier to do this if I first squeeze the bulb down a little to flatten it a little, so I can get a better grip on the bulb. Then I give it a quick, strong squeeze on the bulb.

Waynetho wrote:@Notgivingup, at least hold the pump at the valve block but don't squeeze it. Holding end to end lightly may help you stabilize the pump so it doesn't slip. If you squeeze end to end however, it resets the pump so hold it lightly just to stabilize.
Thanks. I’ll give that a try.

Thanks, oldbeek. It’s hard for me to hold onto the tubes because they are up somewhat high. Maybe because I still have a little swelling, which is getting better every day. I’ll give your technique another try. Otherwise things are going great, feeling great, very happy with the results.
