Re: Billed for amount that insurer says I am not responsible for
So I sent an email to Danielle. She sent me an email telling me to contact the patient accounting department. But my email to patient accounting was returned unsent; people outside their organization are not allowed to send emails to the patient accounting department. Really? I put a hard copy of my...

Billed for amount that insurer says I am not responsible for
Hey guys. I received a bill from Chesapeake Urology for about $3k, but my insurer, Medica, says I am not responsible for this amount. It looks like I am being billed for an amount that Medica would not pay and that Medica says I should not be responsible for. Anyone have a similar experience? Today ...

Re: Waiting time Dr.Kramer ?
When I had my surgery in December 2019, I waited two weeks from the day Dr. Kramer and I talked on the phone to the day of surgery.

Re: My implant journal, Kramer Urology, AMS 700 LGX
For those of you who might experience a similar issue, here is a photo of what my incision looked liked when I had a reaction to the dissolving sutures. There was also an induration (hardening) just under the incision. It happened as the sutures were dissolving. (My apologies for the unpleasant phot...

My understanding is that a scrotoplasty gives it a better cosmetic appearance?
I requested my scrotoplasty. I’m not sure if Kramer would have done it if I hadn’t asked for it. Yes, it’s a cosmetic procedure.

Re: Popular Maryland surgeons policy on issues soon after implantation
Instead of calling his office I always call or text Kramer directly. I do, however, agree that it’s a good idea to call BS directly.

Re: Popular Maryland surgeons policy on issues soon after implantation
I would call Kramer directly and discuss with him. Did these problems happen recently, or have they been there all along? Do you live close to Kramer’s clinic, or do you have a local urologist who can take an in-person look? Keep us updated; let us know how you are progressing.

Re: Dr says LGX is junk
Lots of guys have the CX; I’ve never heard there’s anything wrong with the device your doc is recommending. However, there are pros and cons for each device, and ideally you would have a conversation about which of several devices best suits YOUR anatomy and needs. My concern is that your doc is not...
