Ok guys, major question. Is the out of pocket cost of the implant tax deductible? Next does using a 3rd party to arrange everything, like I did with Surgeo.com cause any issues with taxes? Hopefully one of my bionic brothers is a tax professional as many of us never reveal what profession we are in ...

Dr. Cornell in Houston, Tx,was my surgeon. Excellent care and work. Had worse trips to the dentist.

Got mine with Dr. Cornell in Houston. $20k through Surgeo with $50k complications. They were great to deal with and took care of everything.

The insurance covers a 12 month period. I wish I would have thought to ask about coverage out to 8 - 10 years. It does not hurt to ask, every thing is negotiable. As for a replacement, if you put $83.50 a month on the side for 10 years, you got enough for the replacement sans inflation.

The complication insurance covers things that may happen during surgery, a urethra gets nicked, you have a reaction to anesthesia and need extra days in the hospital...... My personal insurance said this would not be covered, hence the Surgeo insurance. BTW the CEO has contacted me a few times just ...
