Re: First office visit
I thought you'd previously reported success with that volume of meds. If so I'd have to say you missed the sweet spot. As Leebert said, if using 1/2" needles I don't insert the needle all of the way. In my experience, unless you get that burn, if the plunger depresses easily you're probably in ...

Re: First Injection with smaller syringe
If you can figure out the math so you know how much of each to use to get volume the actual meds you need.

Re: First office visit
I think most medical sites say do about an inch or so from the base. I find that a little painful and a harder spot to inject. The mid point is the easiest for me but I move around not only switching sides but up and down but mainly the middle third. Experiment to find what works best for you.

Markets vary. I suggest you post what State you're in as pharmacies are licensed by State. It will make it easier for someone to offer suggestions. It seems a bit high to me.

Re: Effective difference between formulas
I don't know. The PGE-1 is generally considered the big gun of the mix. I think I'd prefer to not increase the Phentolamine. But what do I know. I'm no medical expert. I think determining tri-mix formulas is a bit like the alchemy of the middle ages. Maybe they can create gold. Try the PDF on this s...

I'm also a 3/10ml with 5/16" 31g user. I do have to bury all of the needle plus indent with the nub. But there are those that prefer the 30g and or 1/2" needles. Use the smallest volume syringe that holds the amount of meds you need as smaller equals less plunger resistance.

Re: First office visit
Also, if Dr/uro prescribes a times 2 stronger Tri Mix / Bi Mix, does the price double, or increase slightly, or the same? That just depends on the pharmacy. Mine does not. My pharmacist explained that most of the cost was in the time and labor of preparation. I think many others do vary the cost by...

Re: Unhappy with reduced expiration date
I use mono-mix, AKA straight alprostadil and saline. My mix comes in 10 one ml vials. The one I'm using will be in the front of the freezer. It doesn't freeze solid. The rest I keep in the back of the freezer. Those freeze solid. I don't wait long to draw a syringe out of the front vial. I do let it...
