I agree that you should see specialists. See a good urologist that has a practice that deals with ED. Also consider a mental health specialist but be leery of one that just wants to push drugs.

I expect any break in the skin increases the likelihood of disease transmission. I think it would be wise to assume you will almost always have some sort of break in the skin of some sort. Use common sense.
