Re: We need some success stories/positivity around here

I think what we need is truth, either positive stories or negative ones. Excluding the negative stories and just reading the positive creates too much expectation and can lead to unsatisfaction post-op. There are guys that are very happy with the implant and this is very good! And there are guys no...

Re: How hard is it to pump up after the first pump? I have an AMS LGX

I’ve been having the same issue with my CX. Anytime I try to ask for pointers, people misunderstand the issue for me being unable to find a way to push the bulb in. That isn’t the case if we’re experiencing the same issue. Which is that on the first pump of the bulb, it’s a complete depression and ...

Re: On The Road To Affording An Implant

The hospital I used had a zero interest finance option for 2-5 years. My insurance ended up covering it but I did use the finance option for my portion. Shoot use their money instead of mine especially since it was interest free.

Re: How hard is it to pump up after the first pump? I have an AMS LGX

How long ago was your surgery? oldbeek was spot on with his post. I hold the pump by the base where the tubes enter with my left hand and get the pump between my index finger and the base of my thumb just like oldbeek. This gives me max leverage on the pump bulb and keeps it from shooting out of my ...

Re: AMS 700 CX - cycling issues with pump - PLEASE ADVISE

If this is still a problem go back an see the doctor that did your implant and explain what's going on. Have them to inflate it. If they can't then you might have a problem with the implant, if they can then have them teach you. Having them look at it will answer your questions and would give me pea...

Re: Who’s penis is this?

Who’s penis is this? It’s not the one I came in with. I know it’s right here where mine has always been, but this one is not mine. It’s foreign. It feels like a Frankenstein part fused to my body. I reached the crossroads of decision. Keep the worsening erectile problems I had or get the implant wi...

Re: AMS 700 CX - cycling issues with pump - PLEASE ADVISE

I have the LGX not the CX but I'm pretty sure the pump is the same. As newbie443 stated, push the deflate button before inflating. I always do and make the first pump pretty forceful. Once you hear/feel the pop of the valve shifting you should be good to go. I'm a little over 2 years in and my pump ...

Re: Went from "What did I do" to "OH YEAH!!"

@Fran4524 I did lose a little girth (not sure of numbers though) but my girth is a little smaller on one axis over the other. Meaning with the implant I'm a little more oval than round. I'm pretty sure this happens with almost all implants though. My wife of 25 years isn't complaining though and nei...

Re: Went from "What did I do" to "OH YEAH!!"

Just checking back in for an update to bring this back up if anyone can find this post helpful. I'm still loving my implant and use it often (and my wife is still loving it too). It's not as good as my erections when I was in my 20's but it's pretty darn close but the biggest advantage I see is once...
