Re: Consultation-->Implant-->Use
At Los gatos hospital now. All hooked up and just playing the waiting game now. Everyone here has been fantastic!! I've already seen Dr. Karpman, and just waiting on the anesthesiologist now. So far so good! Nervous as hell, but I can't wait for a month from now. My wife will update next. See you al...

Re: Consultation-->Implant-->Use
Well the pre-op went great today! No major issues. Went to the hospital and pre-registered, so to speak. My wife went with me to the appointment and got to meet Dr. Karpman. Had a fun time talking with him and he answered all my questions as I remembered them. He will leave me 60% inflated for a wee...

Re: Consultation-->Implant-->Use
Well, it's about that time. On the plane now, with my amazing wife. We are heading to San Francisco today. Gonna do some sight seeing today and tomorrow, and we are just going to try to relax as best we can. Pre-op appointment is tomorrow, and we will get a good idea where the hospital is. Nervous, ...

MUNKY,
Out of curiosity did your surgeon do a peno-scrotal approach or an infrapubic approach for the surgery?

Re: Ams Lgx Axial Rigidity
I can just tell you what I have been told by the professionals and journal articles I have read. First, everyone pretty much ends up loving the device they are implanted with. They are harder than normal erections to the point that some partner dissatisfaction is actually due to the implants being o...

Re: Coloplast vs. AMS LGX vs. CX
Ed2013, I am going with Dr. Karpman as well. So glad to hear that you are enjoying your implant and putting it to good use. If ergo through this we better use it well ;) Out of curiosity, was it at the appointment the day before the surgery that the switch was done, or during the surgery? Honestly j...

Re: Coloplast vs. AMS LGX vs. CX
No problem!! We are all here to help each other. So awesome that a forum like this exists. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to discuss this stuff in the real world. Which says nothing for trying to find guys in thee same boat. Good luck with your surgery! Is it tomorrow? I'll be joinin...

Re: Zac's Journey Pre & Post-Op 2014
Zac, I can feel the relief and joy in your post. It reminded me of a time I had a spinal leak following a spinal tap, if you'll allow a little leeway. I was in agony like I had never felt before. Ramming my head into the wall sounded like a good idea. Got to the doctor at a pain level of +10. I had ...

Re: Coloplast vs. AMS LGX vs. CX
Coloplast and CX are more for guys that tend to be a little larger or have peyronie's disease or some other kind of scarring. The axial rigidity on them is much higher due to the kind of fibers being used. Though the LGX does lengthen, the fibers have to move in two directions. The trade-off is that...

Re: Consultation-->Implant-->Use
ShopMan, I am using a VED once a day and something called the Phallosan Forte for a minimum of 12 hours a day. It's a pain in the ass!!! But it's working, so there's that. Shipping on it takes like a month...so if you don't already have one I doubt you will have time. That said, the VED at twice a d...
