Welcome to the forum.
My brother is also 100% disabled, a VN vet. He goes to the Viera FL VA clinic and the big fancy new main VA medical complex at Lake Nona FL. I don't know which location his Uro is located at. Anyhow, his doctor put him on Edex. Keep pushing.

Re: Does Alprostadil (Mono-Mix) Need to be Refrigerated?
If using Edex or Caverject it will come dry and is mixed immediately before use. Refrigeration is not needed. You aren't supposed to save the unused mix after it is reconstituted with the water but if you did, contrary to medical advice, I'd freeze it. Compounded mono-mix that comes as a liquid shou...

If your mix has been frozen and you have been getting consistent erections from that dose I think the assumption would be that you missed.

Re: Started injection 7/30/21. here is how it went!
Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your success. Yes, the injections are pretty darn cheap for most guys unless sourced from one of those "Men's Health Clinics" or you're on Edex, etc. with no insurance coverage or you need a humongous dose, which you obviously don't. I don't know wh...

Re: RETURNING ERECTIONS
I have on a few occasions felt a thickening much like you described, but no, erections haven't returned and it's been 10 years. Thank goodness for injections.

Re: Worries about antibiotics and anesthesia
I've taken antibiotics many times over the years with no cognitive side effects. Gastro intestinal, yes. There is always some risk with anesthesia. However, I think it's the elderly that have the higher risk of cognitive damage from anesthesia. You'll most likely be fine.

I'm cut and have no experience with that product. However, based on my understanding of the product and pictures or it and drawings of it in use, I don't see how being uncut would have any effect on it.

Re: Do Injections Cause Psychological/Physical Dependence?
I can still get decent erections occasionally on my own or with PDE5 inhibitor pills. If I start down the road of injections, how likely is physical/psychological dependence? Well based on your cited article not very likely. That's assuming your ED is strictly psychogenic. Of course that study was ...

Re: Injuries to the penis: torn frenulum?
Flavio,
More likely some sort of contact dermatitis. Your skin just didn't like that cream. As for the bag balm, that's largely lanolin which is generally pretty soothing to the skin. I didn't know it to be anti-fungal. It looks like the current active ingredient is 8-Hydroxyquinoline Sulfate (0.3%).

Re: Newbie: Injection locations
I've never used the Inject-Ease but I have played with the other brand. With the other brand I don't think anything shorter than 1/2" will work.
I'm not a fan of BD syringes for reasons mentioned by others and apparently noticed by you.
